I know there's no direct comparison, I just wanted to know the experience for those that have made the transition.

I have been on 1mg of semaglutide successfully for 6 months. Good appetite suppression, good weight loss. Started yesterday on reta to get rid of the few extra pounds. As I read I'm going with 2, 4, 8 transition every month. Except I'm feeling my appetite is coming back (I know it's only been a day).

My questions: Is 2mg too low for those that have used peptides at a higher dose previously? Is it possible to move up to 4 after 2 weeks rather than waiting 4?

Anything is possible. It's up to you to decide if it's worth it.

Is your goal to lose as much weight as fast as possible or to maximize your health? Titrating up on a monthly basis in the trials is a balance between safety and maximizing results in the timespan of the study. If they thought they could titrate people up faster without greatly increasing the negative effects they probably would have. It takes 4 weeks for the reta to saturate your system at any given dose. Track your measurements and make changes slowly for the best long term results.
