I know there's no direct comparison, I just wanted to know the experience for those that have made the transition.

I have been on 1mg of semaglutide successfully for 6 months. Good appetite suppression, good weight loss. Started yesterday on reta to get rid of the few extra pounds. As I read I'm going with 2, 4, 8 transition every month. Except I'm feeling my appetite is coming back (I know it's only been a day).

My questions: Is 2mg too low for those that have used peptides at a higher dose previously? Is it possible to move up to 4 after 2 weeks rather than waiting 4?

Anything is possible. It's up to you to decide if it's worth it.

Is your goal to lose as much weight as fast as possible or to maximize your health? Titrating up on a monthly basis in the trials is a balance between safety and maximizing results in the timespan of the study. If they thought they could titrate people up faster without greatly increasing the negative effects they probably would have. It takes 4 weeks for the reta to saturate your system at any given dose. Track your measurements and make changes slowly for the best long term results.

Something I am seeing in many Reta posts is comments similar to this, which leads me to believe that people don't really understand how the new drug they are using even works.

Reta has a very weak GLP1 function, out of the 3 receptors that Reta is working on it is the last and least that it hits, until you get in higher doses. The primary purpose and function of Reta is not about making you lose weight by simply not eating, using a hormonal ballgag and slowing your crap from exiting. It's about actively burning your body fat. It works while eating, which is a good thing- you need to eat, you need nutrients, you need adequate protein etc.

To me this is a far far better and more healthy and "natural" ( I realize that sounds ridiculous) way to lose body weight from a physiological standpoint. To me it makes Sema seem very crude. I think it's also better mentally and encourages a better relationship with eating- as you see in some Reta posts like these, some people coming from Sema start getting concerned that they want to eat food. Because in their current mindset the only way to lose body fat is to not eat. With Reta, your metabolism is cranked up.
