Shingles Vaccine and Reta?

Has anyone done the shingles vaccine while on Reta? Any additional side effects? I’m scheduled for my second shot of the vaccine in a week. My first shot was before I started Reta.

I got my first shot back in August. Fortunately, I had no significant side effects from it. I need to get the second shot soon. I am 4-6mg reta every 7-14 days in maintenance.

I got my first shot in August as well, however I was not on Reta back then. My wife was / still is on Monjourno (Triz) when she did her two shots and as far as we know she had no different side effects.

I received my first one last Friday. Other than a sore arm for two days, no issues, no side effects.

Well, I don't have the experience of the shot while on reta. I can say that my immune response to the 2nd shot was very strong. I was miserable for that week but I think that just means my body really did not like the presence of the virus.

There is no definite reaction like this. However, after getting the injection, ensure adequate rest, avoid strenuous exercise, and drink plenty of water to relieve possible fatigue
