I anticipated my side effects would be even effect throughout the whole week. It seems like the side effect spikes for 24 hours after I inject. 1) Am I still getting benefits from the drug for the remainder of the week? 2) Am I better of injecting 1/2 the dose --- twice/week? Thanks!

Having very recently replaced Semaglutide with Tirzepatide, I am certain I prefer split doses of both.
For me, splitting the weekly dose eliminated any hill-and-valley effect a single dose sometimes caused.
The end of the week valley is slightly more pronounced for me on Tirzepatide.
I know that some would titrate upward to a higher single dose. Others shorten the medication week to six or even five days.
Both cases are an increase in dose it seems to me.
Splitting one week's meds into two injections spaced 3 1/2 days apart works well for me.
And it isn't an unneeded dosage increase

For me, I split doses for a month and it wasn’t working for me, though lots of people say it works for them. I was at 5 and dosing 2.5 every 3.5 days and wasn’t losing weight At 7.5 I started doing injections full dose every 5 days instead of 7 it’s worked perfectly for me. Side effects were the worst for me the first 2 months. Once I discovered body armor lyte it helped any nausea go away and Prilosec and papaya enzymes eliminated the acid reflux. Everyone is different.
