So, according to my Apple Watch tracking, pre-TRT, I was averaging 9-9.5 hours of sleep per night, and that was extremely consistent. Hard to get to sleep, but once I was, I could stay asleep, and when I woke up, I felt like I could just go right back. This past week, I have been around 6.5-6.75 hours. Easier to get asleep, but if I wake up at say 6:30-7 am, that's it, I'm awake. Normally, I would see that time, and just push it off and go back to sleep till like 9 or later. Not happening this week.
Also, I could ALWAYS nap daily if I wanted. Again, not the case this week. My energy does feel generally better and more stable throughout the day, and a general sense of energy, kind of like a cup of coffee that just lasts. I just get worried seeing sleeping hours under 7 consistently.
What has been your experience with sleep on this stuff? Is it generally just a reduced need for quantity because of better quality, or is there some stimulant effect in the beginning from the sudden change that will level off?
I have two weeks' worth of dosing done as of today. These are the main changes I have noticed, and just this week.
