What could be wrong with this v1?
I have been using it fine for a month or two, no problems.
I wanted to use it to do my 5 units of KPV daily, but it doesn’t seem to release any liquid until I click it to 10 units, and even then it takes forever to come out, like way too long. I am sorry if this has been posted elsewhere! 🙏

Possibly the spring that pushes is a little weak.

What gauge needle are you using ? If 34g or 32g perhaps try using a 31g . With such low exit diameter of the smaller needles perhaps the push medication can't get out .

I've said this before. Pens are more mechanically complex, so eventually they'll just start to malfunction. It's not a matter of if, but when. For me that's a dealbreaker to use them at all.
A syringe just works and is always precise.

I've posted this video before but not all Peptide Pens are created equal. In the video he shows how to test a pen.

My $62 Amazon pen was a piece of junk. 4 times out of 5 it would inject significantly lower than indicated, like 3.5 or 4 units instead of 10. I returned it and got several from peppens instead; I haven't finished testing them to provide any results as of yet.

A syringe just works and is always precise.

Pens are tempting as it seems a lot of people are using them and loving it. I, however, am in the same camp as you. Why introduce complexity, just a good ole syringe, pin it and go.

If you're doing daily pins, the pens make a lot of sense. Literally 20 sec from grabbing the pen to done. I don't think I could use a syringe in less than 2-3 minutes. It is a tremendous time saver.

Or, if you're trying to inject in your glute (say something painful, like GHK). I first switched to the pens when I was trying to figure the contortions that would be necessary to shoot my lower glute with an insulin syringe.

I was surprised to realize how widely the quality varies. I'm very impressed with the peppens.com pens I've started using since discovering how bad the hunk-o-junk one I bought on Amazon was.

Ah I figured it was a matter of when not if it starts screwing up on me. I need another pen anyway 👍 Great recommendations too, thanks!
I will for sure get another pen to try out, because hey it’s fun🤷‍♀️ but I did also buy the 6mm 30 unit syringes and they made a huge difference pain wise, and the shorter barrel length was waaay easier to handle.

I haven't tried a V1, they rely on a spring?
I assumed manuals were simply pushed?
I'm pretty disappointed in the auto inject GansuPen 2 I picked up a couple of weeks ago.
It seems to hang up mid injection at least half of the time I've used it.
I've doubled dilution, changed needles, carts and warmed to room temp. with little success.
The general consensus so far is the are finicky about the carts but no one seems to know what the difference is to look out for. 2 of my first 5 carts worked, I've ordered another batch from a different supplier for one last shot before I shit can it. 😆

I prepare my weekly sysinges in advance, so time saving is a non-issue for me.
Not sure why you want to shoot your glute (I shoot GHK-Cu* in my abdomen), but I guess it makes a bit more sense to use a pen if you do.
Ofc. this is just my personal preference. There is no right or wrong here.

*Mix your GHK-Cu with extra BAC water to drastically reduce the sting.

havent tried pens but i can say with certainty 30g flows way easier than 31g or smaller.

There’s some really crap pens out there, but the ones I use the most were made by Eli Lilly to dispense insulin. I’m pretty confident in their ability to remain accurate.

I’ve checked calibration of every single one of my pens extensively using 0.001g gold scales and they are on point.

I use pens exclusively for a number of reason.

First is I filter everything, a pen cart is way cheaper than a sterile vial.

Second is the amount of waste created is way lower with pens. My sharps bin lasts about 10x longer.

Third is since taking GHK, needles that have pierced a vial hurt. Yes I could get Luer lock syringes and switch needles but see the point above.

Fourth reason is my eyesight ain’t great and reading 10 on a pen is way easier than 10 on a syringe.

Fifth is I can much more easily see how many units are left with the surprisingly accurate indicators on the side

Sixth is I just suck at getting the peps out of a vial without either getting air bubbles or running out of syringe.

Seventh is portability

Eighth is I just like gadgets

Ninth is my fridge is easier to organise.

Actually the cart holders are slightly different. I believe the Gansulin has an earlier design which is more prone to breaking

I will say 5U is pretty small. I try to stay above 10, just for accuracy. I do have a V1 pen that drops the first click, but is otherwise +/-1U, I still don't use it. Definitely test with a syringe, if you haven't already. If it was an autoinjector like Gansulin/Bird/Convi, I'd be more suspicious of the high guage needles (anything >30ga). The springs on those can be a little slow (but you should hear them click).

It sounds like you're trying to do 0.25mg with a 10mg/2ml cart. If you want to pin that low, I'd split into 2 carts (4ml total) when reconning so that you can get to 10U a shot. You'll still use them up in the same 40days and have less risk of contamination for the one you haven't used yet. If you know how much you've already used (eg 50U), you might be able to add more BAC (eg 150U) to the cart to bring the concentration down. Just don't blow the plunger out the back!

Last possibility. Do you have a bubble of any noticeable size in the cart? That can cause it to be REALLY slow, because the bubble compresses before liquid starts to ooze out. Stuck plungers usually work fine once they break loose.
