I tried the BD insulin syringes and ouch! Since using pens I have tried a few different brands and lately they seem inconsistent. some are painless some sting.
I was wondering which ones have the best performance in your opinion, and if it is worth giving the BD Nano Ultrafine ones a try. Has anyone tried them? Your time and info is appreciated. TIA

Not sure about brand but buying 4 mm is a HUGE difference if you’ve been using 8 mm! Just make sure to stick it in straight instead of at an angle

if it's just basic peps then I'm personally a fan of the smaller 34g pen needles . Less overall impact on the skin top of the cartridge.

I ordered a sampler pack from Underground supply and was a big fan of the EasyDrip 32g 6mm needles and BD (Embecta) Microfine 31g 5mm. Ended up ordering a box of each afterwards. Tried a box of Glucocare needles from amazon and I'm never using them again. 98 needles sitting in a box and not sure what to do with em!

Besides the upfront cost of the pen, does this come out being cheaper than insulin syringes?

I wouldn't say cheaper. It's more of a convenience with things you have to pin on the daily. I use pens for BPC-157 and TB-500 and it makes the morning injections take like 1-2 minutes max.

This is so funny to see conflicting anecdotes to my experience. I have glucocare plus 4mm 32g and feel nothing. But on my easy touch 8mm 31g and 6mm 22g about half of them pinch/hurt.

IMHO, easy touch syringe needles are the best but easy touch pen needles suck ass.

For pen needles Advocate and ComfortEZ are my go to’s.
