I’d like to get information on other’s experiences with Tirz and having insulin resistance PCOS. I just started Tirz a month ago and haven’t noticed any difference in anything. I have moving up my dose so hopefully I see some type of results in the coming weeks.

Please let me know your experiences!

Hey there. I have terrible case of the PCOS.

I finally decided to go on Zepbound through doctor specializing in weight loss. I started my journey in October of 2024 and it unfortunately had to end in July of 2025 due to insurance issues. But in those few months on Zepbound, I lost over 30 lbs.

All the symptoms from PCOS reduced are completely vanished.

I started on just 2.5mg and saw instant results. Part of the reason why I saw great success is due to being disciplined with fasting prior to using any medication and being on loads of supplements which put the Zepbound on turbo drive for me.

If my insurance did not kneecap me, I would have reach my goal last year.

Since my insurance dropped Zepbound, I was forced to switch to Wegovy in July of 2025. Since then, I lost a measly 10-12 lbs.

But today, I decided to try Reta and will start my journey next week. I still have the peasy 18 lbs to lose.

my wife had all that going on. only like 2 periods a year, higher levels of testosterone and insulin resistance. she got on a compounded tirz before i found my way to the grey. was on it for about 6 months and although she lost about 20 lbs it was really helpful in getting her cycle back on track and helped her insulin resistance enough she got off her metformin...
she did have to stop taking it about... well a little over 9 months ago.. our first child is due next week so we played it safe and she discontinued use. but she allready said she wants to get back on after nursing and everything is said and done.

I have insulin resistance and PCOS. I've been on a low dose of tirz since late January. Along with the weight loss, I've noted improved symptoms, a less irregular cycle, and improved fatigue. I think the hirsutism is better but I also think that may be placebo.

What are you looking at when you say you haven't noticed a difference? I think 4 weeks is a pretty short timeline. I still think 12 weeks is an early comparison in my own case and I expect to see more changes over the next 6-9 months.

I'd say give it more time before writing it off. But, definitely talk to your provider about your concerns.
