Tirz Compounding Ending February/March

Does anyone have a copy of the article and or filing of the recent Eli Lilly versus peptide companies article? I’ve searched and I can’t find it.

Do you guys think the price of tirz from venders will increase due to demand?
I think it'll probably stay about the same for now. Most of the compound users I'm in contact with are planning to go to sema first after the 90 days are up for the 503b's. When compounded sema gets the axe it will get interesting.

I agree. A lot of people that have insurance will also go to brand with the copay program where they can get the real stuff for about $400. I'm still surprised at all the people on reddit talking about doing 3mg a week

Doubtful, too many suppliers competing and driving the price down consistently because once a vendor has the actual product down, there isn't much they can differentiate on besides price.

Well, there are plenty of things they could do to stand out, but none really seem to give a fuck to make 3-4 minor changes that would set them leagues apart and help them dominate the market. Whatever though lmao still cheap.

Also, there are a ton more GLP1 meds coming online over the next couple of years. Reta is already the new darling in town, and it's price is crashing down. It won't even be out of testing until late 25/on market in 26 lol. Tirz is going to be old news in another couple of years.

Yeah tirz is gonna be a boomer thing very soon

I’m pretty sure I called February/March in prior posts. I’m so smart.

FDA decision here: https://www.fda.gov/media/184606/download?attachment

Brace yourselves. There will be a huge influx of new folks looking for DIY versions.
Don't be surprised if compounding goes on for several months past March. The FDA previously promised that if it decides to leave tirzepatide off the shortage list and the plaintiffs in the lawsuit against it filed for a preliminary injunction, the FDA would not enforce restrictions on compounded tirzepatide founded upon it not being in shortage until the court rules on the preliminary injunction request. Additionally, there are other ways to possibly get around the restrictions on compounding by finding fault with the medication as provided by Eli Lilly.
