The CNY holiday gave me a good chance to step back and evaluate my planned purchases, which started out as a pullback, but with the fullness of time, I've gone completely over the ledge and ready to start a full stack. Tracy and Alan, come back, i have a tax check soon and I'm ready to send it to yooouuuu

I am 7 months into tirz and 3 months into cag/sema stacking. About 15-20 pounds from goal weight. Very unexpectedly, starting to focus on broader health (and looking for things to jab myself with, admittedly).

Very intrigued reading the journal articles on NAD and SS-31. Other peps seem less impactful for me currently but those seem like good candidates. So when I'm able to figure out the best 2025 pricing from the vendors, here is where I'm thinking I'll go with my stack. So look out for me in March or April posting here asking how do I identify the boxes in my QSC shipment now that I threw away the packaging 😂
Let me know what you think!

some detail:
NAD+: scientific benefits look awesome. looks like it's best to supplement a NAD precursor like NMN, NMNH, or NR rather than NAD+ itself. I see the most common thing on amazon is NMNH but this is a new product - are those amazon products legit and do they work? are they bioavailable? Is there a benefit to just injecting NAD directly - is it an IM injection and is it bioavailable?

malabsorption: i had a bariatric surgery at one point and I need to supplement some basic vits because I don't absorb enough through the GI tract. b12, calcium, vit d, iron

SS-31: looks great for mitochondrial health and cognitive and retinal health. I'm at risk for alzheimers/dementia so i'm interestied in any help i can get there.

TRT: my labs are on the low end of normal. talking to doc next week to get his thoughts on TRT. I had low energy/fatigue for a few months but very recently i feel amazing so he might not go for it. not really interested in doing this one DIY/grey but i'm open to hearing experiences here.

i'm going to have to start some weight lifting in 2025, and i've had some muscle pulls/tweaks from tennis so i'm not going to rush into TB/BPC yet but keep it in mind if I have more tennis tweaks and start lifting.

I’ve refined my focus as well. Similar boat as you - having to push myself to exercise - 40 lbs out from goal weight - down 65 lbs. I’m in my early 60s so my age-related needs may be different than yours.

I’m gearing up for an SS-31/MOTS-C/NAD+ cycle but not yet finalized protocol. I also will take 750mg TMG at same time to assist with methylation per recommendation of others smarter than me.

Planning to run a separate tesa/ipa cycle to address visceral fat and boost gh if that’s possible at my age. I figured I would start there before trying exogenous hgh.

I also have a kit of GHK-CU and Epitalon for future use.

I’m on TRT (topical Rx) which has been a huge help but want to switch to injectable for cost and dosing flexibility.

Getting your hormones in the optimal range will boost your workout outcomes.

I suspect TRT is going to make more impact for you than NAD+/SS-31/MOTS-C.

Average total testosterone seems highly correlated to lots of environmental factors - there are lots of countries where the average total T is way higher than the US, and we know the average has been dropping over time. So lowish for the current reference range is very low compared to the historical average. Getting up to the top of the reference range makes quite a lot of difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if your doc is sort of lukewarm on it. Most are, particularly based on some old studies (one of which later had retractions) about cardiovascular risk. Modern studies with significantly larger populations have shown no difference in cardiovascular risk. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/landia/article/PIIS2213-8587(23)00254-1/abstract
