I take my HGH dose right before bed, 2 IU. I'm also taking Reta 2.5 mg/week.

Question: If we're taking Retatrutide, gastric emptying is slower. I have dinner around 8 pm and go to bed around 10:30-11 pm. Is that correct? Or is that too short a time when using Retatrutide?

I experienced that last night. I am on Reta, and wearing a CGM.
I had dinner at 6:30pm. I wanted to take my tesa before bed at midnight, but my CGM showed I was having a glucose spike followed by a crash, so high insulin.
I decided to take tesa in the morning, but by accident I woke up at 3am.
Glucose was stable, so I took the tesa and went back to bed.
So 6:30-midnight+ = high insulin for me, no good for GH.

Did you eat a lot of carbs at dinner?

Because of this insulin spike, I'm pinning 2iu, fasted, in the AM.

Have put on a few pounds worth of water weight, that's for sure. Rings are definitely fitting a bit more snug. Will get bloods again in a few weeks, but BP and glucose are still under control at 2iu. I'm 44, and 19% body fat. I've got another few percent to go.

Fasted doesn't matter when taking exogenous HGH. That's only an issue for GHRH's and GHRP's. There is some slight increased insulin resistance issues connected to meal partitioning and administration times, but those effects are completely negated by Reta.

Way too short, pin in the AM

How long do you recommend waiting to eat when pinning fasted in the AM? I keep seeing it isn't converted in the liver to increase IGF-1 for around 3 hours.
Research these matters, but realize with your Reta your gastic emptying is severely slowed so 4-6 hours may not be enough time to not in effect waste what you pin.
Onthe other end I "hear" a morning workout fasted then eat and you're GTG but again, your mileage may vary.
Happy researching!
