dexascan.com
FYI: MALWAREBYTES blocked the link as a Trojan.I haven’t gotten one because there’s not a location within 2 hours of me, but I’ve seen a lot of people say they’re paying around $200-ish. I’ve seen as low as $100 and as high as $400 cited. I just did a map search for “dexa scans near me,” but the Dexa site also has a Dexa scan location finder.

Weird. It was just dexa scan dot com but certainly could have been an imposter site. Thanks for letting me know.FYI: MALWAREBYTES blocked the link as a Trojan.
I paid $175 in MI.I see lots of posts referring to DEXA scans. I would like to know my body fat, muscle, and bone density percentages. Where are y'all getting them and how much do they cost?
It's for tracking progress and making adjustments during a body recomp. The scale is a very poor way to track your progress for both fat reduction and muscle building journeys. If you are trying to lose fat, and the scale is showing the weight going down, a dexa scan will tell you if the weight loss is coming from fat loss or muscle loss so adjustments can be made to your diet and workout routine. For me, visceral fat was a huge concern, so when the dexa showed that my visceral fat was rapidly reducing, I knew I was on the right track for fat loss. It also helped me change up my gym routine to target my weak areas since it shows where you are building more or less muscle. What kind of decisions do folks make based on dexa scan results? Are people adjusting dosing or calorie intake or something differently if the scan comes out one way or another? Or is it mainly just used for tracking?
I would love one for tracking. Maybe mental health? I still feel so fat. Would love to know how much and of what. What kind of decisions do folks make based on dexa scan results? I've been on the fence about it. I should probably pull the trigger and have a go. I'm starting to make decisions with peptides without having any of the appropriate data to back those decisions and that's not a great way to go about this.Highly recommend people get at least one DEXA scan. I am visibly quite lean, but was shocked to see how high my body fat percentage is. Fat distribution across the body is quite different for different people based on their genetics. The ones around my location cost ~$150, so I don't do it frequently.
How fat are you? I can get mine done through a weight loss program at a local hospital in my area. Had to get a referral from PCP.I see lots of posts referring to DEXA scans. I use one. It’s usually within a few % points from the dexa and almost spot on with the inbody. In my opinion, it was a very good investment.Does anyone have and experience with the Hume Health scale/ dexa scan combo? I keep seeing ads for them and would like an unbiased opinion.
I have been at my target weight for a while. But my target weight might change depending on the results. Both of my parents had osteoporosis. Maybe I can get one based on that. Are there different scans. Will one testing bone density also test body composition? How fat are you? I can get mine done through a weight loss program at a local hospital in my area. Would a Dexa Scan indicate if a person were calcium deficient?I have been at my target weight for a while. But my target weight might change depending on the results. A dexa scan can indicate osteoporosis. Osteoporosis can be caused by a calcium deficiency.Would a Dexa Scan indicate if a person were calcium deficient?
Yeah that would be hard then. I went through a 6 month course on helathy eating, excersise, etc when trying to get GLP through insurance. This way seems easier.I have been at my target weight for a while. But my target weight might change depending on the results. Both of my parents had osteoporosis. Maybe I can get one based on that. I get my first DEXA scan tomorrow after waiting ~5 weeks for my appointment.
I really wanted a baseline closer to the start of my journey but availability is availability, driving an hour to get this one. I don't remember the exact day I called, but I'm at least 15lb lighter unless I called during my 3lb Christmas bump. 🤣
The price there is $199.
