📊 April Supply Chain Notes: 3 Changes Currently Taking Place!

Hello everyone, this is Harper.

Every month, I review the current state of the supply side. Here are three real changes I’ve personally observed in April, which I’d like to share with our clients:

Change 1: Slight Price Adjustments for Some Raw Materials.

It’s not affecting all products, but raw material costs for several popular categories (especially the Reta series) are indeed rising.
We can hold out for a while longer, but if you ask me, “Will prices go up next month?”—the answer is most likely yes.


Change 2: Shipments from our U.S. warehouse have increased by approximately 30% month-over-month.

What does this mean?
Experienced distributors and clinics have already started stockpiling in April. They aren’t “anxious ahead of time”; rather, they go through the same cycle every year in May and June: popular products go out of stock → long wait times for restocks → price hikes. They simply don’t want to get caught off guard again.


Change 3: It’s often our long-time customers who inquire early and place orders quickly

While new customers are still “shopping around,” our long-time customers have already quietly secured their Q2 inventory. It’s not that they have more money;
it’s that they know: delaying an order by a week could mean waiting two extra weeks for the goods—or paying a higher price.

If you’re a major client or distributor, take 5 minutes in April to do one thing:

👉 List the products and quantities you expect to need in May and June.

👉 Send it to me, and I’ll secure inventory and lock in current prices for you.

No need to pay right away, no need to decide immediately.

It’s just about “reserving your spot.”
When you’re actually ready to buy, at least you won’t be caught off guard by “out-of-stock” situations or price hikes.

Those who wait to stock up end up paying the price for those who stocked up early.
