General Understanding of Testing

I’ve been able to find some info to help me understand testing processes and culture but I’d like to have a more collective understanding. Hopefully this post can be a single place for info for other new people, too!

I have my first grey order on the way. I didn’t ask for a batch number which I since saw is recommended. Is this something I can ask of the vendor still and try to find information on? I assume I have to find a 3rd party (testing server) that tested this batch before I pin?

Now, if I can’t find anything, what are my options to test? From my understanding, I have to pay to send it out to a 3rd party. As far as group testing goes, is that always connected with a group buy? Is an order made as a group, samples from that batch tested, and the results given to everyone with their product?

I’ve also seen vendor testing, Janoshik, COA, etc., mentioned often and want to know if there’s any vital differences in using this information.

What sequence of operations do you find works best for you and why?? Any additional advice regarding testing is appreciated ☺️

I prefer the @Mr. Blonde and @Airborne Daddy approach. Grip it and rip it.

That being said here is my understanding;

1. Many orders will have batch numbers on the kit (not always the case). You can reach out to the vendor, be specific about your order number and cap color. Won't always be effective.
a. You can pin whatever you want. Its called freedom. Do you test your multivitamin before you take it? Your creatine from Nutricost? Your 2021 Austin Hope Cab? Your dime bag from the hyrdo guy down the street?

2. There are more labs than just Jano. Even some in the US. If I was going to individually test my peps I would be looking at one of those. Unfortunately most vendors will only accept Jano's test results.
a. Not always connected to a GB. Not ordered as a group. People will organize group testing based on vendor and batch. Gotta get more dialed in on some of the different communities that organize this. Two names from the forums here I would reach out to ; @littledragon25 and @Retazempic

3. Trust a digital document from a vendor like the paper its printed on. AKA zero. (This is just my opinion.)

4. I find this arena is similar to buying anything in any other area in your life. You can research endlessly , look at reviews, make big spreadsheets, etc. But ultimately at some point you are going to have to just make a decision and send it. There is no certainty about anything you buy. Just embrace that going in.

Great info and thank you for the references as well! I’m pretty committed to the full send at this point. I also find so much about this community fascinating so I want to understand stuff even if I may never use it 😂

I thought id be leery about gray, like really hesitant and cautious. And I was. But one I got bit by the bug it doesnt feel scary any longer. I want to try ipamorelin, hgh and mots-c. And REALLY wanna dive into that klow I just got. No hesitancy now have all.that shit and more squirrwled away in the big freezer, lets go!!!!!!!

I mean I told myself I would only get Reta first and then go from there but ordered 3 things first instead 😂 I’m ready for it!
