Hi all my wifes at the age and could do with a libido boost ive been told to give her 1mg of PT 141? will this work and will she get nausea? could i go lower so 0.5 mg to start? any advice would be nice thanks.

With injecting anything (or instigating any injections), nausea is the least of your worries. Could be felony murder or involuntary manslaughter if she dies from an anaphylactic reaction.

Oh Jesus Christ, OP, can you please confirm that you are exploring this with her full knowledge and consent and are simply saving her the work of some the research, which you of course intend to share with her? Cause it didn't even occur to me that that might not be the case til @Calm Logic brought it up, but now I can't un-see that possibility.

The legal issues in the UK for a nightmare/fatal scenario:

ScenarioIf Spouse Self-InjectsIf You Inject the Spouse
InvestigationPolice will investigate the source of the drug/peptide.You become the primary focus of a homicide/manslaughter investigation.
Potential ChargeYou could be charged with "Supply" or "Assisting" a crime.High risk of Gross Negligence Manslaughter.
Legal OutcomeOften treated as a tragic self-inflicted accident.High risk of a custodial (prison) sentence.

The US is more conservative since just supplying a drug could result in felony murder ("drug-induced homicide").

I'd say there's another nightmare scenario possible even if she DOESN'T die, which is that she isn't consulted on the whole thing. I'm kinda in favor of a super clear "She's interested in checking this out, and I'm checking into this on her behalf" at the very start of conversations like this.

Try topical ointment known as “Scream Cream.” It’s a custom-blended prescription cream made by a compounding pharmacy. My Wife borrowed a swipe of this from her sister just for fun and it worked for the scenario.

And even with consent (which I assume is the case here), no one should be injecting anyone else with something unprescribed, spouse or not. At least in the UK, self-injection breaks the "chain of custody" by showing intent/autonomy:

By ensuring your spouse is the only one who handles the syringe and performs the injection, you are effectively allowing them to exercise their legal right to bodily autonomy. This protects you from the catastrophic legal fallout of a "medical accident" while keeping the issue confined to the (rarely prosecuted) regulatory breach of supplying an unlicensed substance to a family member.

I take a day off now we're into necrophilia....I'll try anything thrice!

50 shades of peptides.....

Editor's note from randompersonrandom: He decided to delete this comment because it was slightly explicit, but he suggested what I think is a perfectly reasonable alternative plan, but oh fine, if he pulled it I'll pull it from my quote but it has my vote.
I refuse to answer any other questions until OP confirms that this has already been tried.

If you have her full consent, have her START LOW, as she may panic at the physical response to it. I started with .25mg, I flushed and overheated within 10 minutes. It looked as if I had a sunburn. The excess heat was really uncomfortable, and I was anxious (but giggly) on the car ride to dinner. By the time dinner was over, it was gone. 2.7 hour half-life my @ss.

oh no, that was me who edited it, out of mercy--he never saw it. But now he's GONNA cause you summoned him and he can see edits! 😀
It should be obvious by now that my moderation philosophy is the less the better, so when we do have to intervene, it's usually not going to be a fun time. In the inimitable words of my old man, "Don't make me turn this car around!"

WOW i was asking for my wife as she is not a member. she was the one who told me about it and i was like what is it and have you looked it up? i would NEVER just give my wife something. i was asking because i was worried. she has got it herself i just wanted to make sure she know what dose to take. and just for the record she will be taking it herself as a fully grown adult. her choice i just thought someone could give me some good advice i could pass on to her.

Thanks

I would suggest she starts with a very low dose, and work up. My wife tried it herself as well, using only 1mg and not the clinical 1.75-2mg dose. Within 15 min she was very flush and reaching for the benedryl. While this is a common side effect, with her it was bad enough that not only was there no sexy time in the future, but she said she will never try it again… so she may want to start much lower

thanks for info don't sound like much fun.

I sent you a DM - I am female and I have taken PT-141 on more than one occasion.

The recommendation seems to consistently be start with a low dose (0.5 mg) to test tolerability. However, she should be aware that with that low dose she’ll get all of the negative side effects and none of the “benefits.” There are plenty of websites that give dosing protocols. Search the forum and you’ll find some mentioned. Some don’t want to be named anymore. The standard warning is to use no more than twice per week because of the risk of receptor desensitization. I doubt she’d want to use it much after experiencing the flushing and nausea. Oxytocin is another one she can looking into for the bonding side of this equation.

As for the first part of this thread, I think the hesitation of the forum to help you was warranted. It should be a gentle lesson to be careful of how you phrase things. Anytime you say you want “to give” a grey-market substance to someone else, it’s going to set off alarm bells, whether that’s your spouse, parents, kids, etc. No condemnation, just keep this in mind. You’d have gotten a completely different response if you’d started with “my wife bought this and I’m trying to find info on it” or something to that effect.
