12 months ago my blood pressure was through the roof @ 180/97, after exercising and losing weight it went down to 140/88. Now after 8 weeks on reta and losing even more weight, my blood pressure has dropped to 114/77 which is perfect for my age and height.

I am over the moon and I cant help but wonder if reta has helped me strip the fat out of my arteries and possibly also any plague.

Just wanted to share this finding, it would be interesting to hear if anyone else has had a similar result.

Glad I woke up when the body mechanic wanted to put me on blood thinners 😀

I am hopeful to have similar results once my Reta journey is 8 weeks in because I have been on blood pressure meds for years. What dosage of Reta are you on?

I know Reta is good but curing you of the Plague is next level 🙂

Jokes aside that's great to hear - I know weight loss is huge when it comes to BP but if Reta gives it a helping hand too that's awesome.

I was down about 30lb at my last doctor visit and my blood pressure was never extremely high. Prior to reta in July 2025, it was probably like 130/90 at 420+lb. At a November visit I weighed 394 but my BP was 104/76. I have an annual physical in April and I am hoping for continuous good BP numbers.

At the end of the day its only an assumption about the plaque, but fat is like a glue so anything is possible. Reta is the most incredible tool, I am looking forward to the outcome of the clinical trials.
