Took my first shot of Reta today, 2.5mg. Just finished my last 10mg of MJ 5 days ago. Wondering if anyone had done similar and experienced a temporary increase in food noise and hunger until the reta built up.

I haven't started on Reta yet but it's generally accepted that you get less appetite suppression than you do with Tirz. Some people use Cagri to help quieten the food noise, but it depends on how manageable you find it

For me, so far, bridging from Tirz to Reta, getting my Reta up to therapeutic levels from the trial’s data has hunger and food noise entirely under control.

It’s been 10 days since I took any supplemental tirz for control. My tirz level is currently around 1.3mg, I don’t anticipate needing any more/I think my bridge is complete. Results wise my weight is down 11-12lb in the 21 days since my first 1mg dose of Reta.

I switched from Sema to Reta and stopped the Sema about a month beforehand. It took until I got to 8 mgs to get any weight loss ( I lost all at that dose.) Appetite suppression started kicking in at around 6 mg.

When you've been on a prior GLP it's common to need higher doses to get an effect. Once I found the right dose, I easily got down to my goal weight so don't lose hope! Also, it takes 4 weeks for each dose to take full effect.

To clarify, it takes ~4-5 weeks at a given weekly dosage to reach a steady state where the intake rate and the elimination rate balance, giving a consistent average level of exposure at a given dosage. That is why a weekly

It takes 12-49 hours to reach the peak from a given dose; I use 24 hours for modeling my current levels.

This is how a 6mg/once weekly dose will peak levels around 10.8mg and maintain an average level of 7.42mg.

I wouldn't take that as gospel. Responses to Reta are highly individual. Sema did little to suppress my appetite and Reta shut it down completely. When I first started at 2mg a week, I had to force myself to eat and ate only because I knew I had to. Everyone needs to gauge their own response instead of relying on the experiences of others, and I've found that to be true for the entire menu of peptides. You just never know.

What dose of tirz were you at when you started bridging? I'm bridging now, too, and was only at 12.5 of tirz, but want to have reta do its thing for the next couple of months to get past my current stall. I tried going up in tirz to 15mg for a while, but didn't really see any change or improvement so dropped down and decided on the reta road.

I missed that, I was only just shy of a month in on Tirz, I was 3 doses in on 2.5mg 2x weekly.

I took two more doses of Tirz to help the bridge before getting my Reta levels high enough to take over. No side effects aside from cold sensitivity.

Tomorrow makes 4 weeks since starting the bridge and I’m down 10lb. I was down 13lb as of Tuesday but I’ve had a 3lb weight bounce I’m waiting out, undoubtably some variety of water retention.

I was on 2.5 weekly zepbound until I reached my goal weight. I responded well to the entry-level dose. I switched cold turkey to 2 mg of reta. I did notice slight increase in food noise. Just a little. For me, it's ok as I'm eating more protein and my fat percent hasn't gone up but muscle mass has. I think the glucagon part might be making up for it.
