Hello
I’ve been running retatrutide for 5 weeks now.
Dose has been conservative: 1 mg once weekly, and I haven’t increased it.
Results-wise, it’s doing exactly what the math says it should.
I’m down 5.5 lbs, which lines up almost perfectly with my balanced diet~500 calorie/day deficit. Appetite control has been excellent, cravings are muted, and adherence has been easy. From a fat-loss standpoint, reta has been fantastic.
The downside: sleep.
Over the last few weeks, my sleep has progressively worsened. I’m consistently waking up around 1–2am and struggling (or failing) to get back to sleep. It feels stimulatory, almost like my nervous system won’t fully power down. The trend is clear enough that I can’t ignore it anymore.
So while the fat loss is steady and predictable, sleep quality matters more. Poor sleep is taking a toll. If I can’t solve this, I may have to pull retatrutide despite how effective it’s been.
I’m curious if others have run into the same issue on reta and what actually helped.
