I am aware that for some people during their weight loss journey; having loose skin can become an issue. After doing some research I have read and heard from some that adding GHK CU to their regiment has helped with some skin tightening. Has anyone here experienced any of the same results? Is GHK CU worth looking into to help with skin issues? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks folks 🙂

I started my weight loss 6 months ago and have been using ghk the whole time, having loss 88lbs and no loose skin. So yes I think it works.

I think there are a lot of variables. Age is an important one. Younger skin will generally back better, especially with the extra support of GHK-cu.

I’m middle aged and only a relatively little weight to lose and have only been on a GLP1 and GLOW for a month. Nothing to report so far, but hopeful to make the switch to just KPV and GHK-cu soon and maybe by the time my weight is where I want it to be the little bit of sag in my stomach will be gone.

Possibly, though I'm pushing toward 60 and have had great success it.

You know what we need? Some really obese identical twins to discover this site, get super excited about tirz or reta, get on them, and only ONE of them decide that Klow is worthwhile, and the other one says eh, no thanks. I'm not saying we should encourage humans to be lab rats and I am certainly not saying we should deliberately encourage twins to join us so we can actually have some slight anecdotal stories about klow affecting loose skin besides "trust me bro". In fact, I have a feeling even SUGGESTING that to anyone who shows up might technically be nazi-adjacent, and I certainly don't want to do THAT.

What I AM saying is that if any twins show up posting a welcome thread, I plan to be really, REALLY nice to them. 😀

Man, I wish I'd heard about GHK-Cu years ago. Now that this is my 2nd time losing more than 100 lbs, I have such loose skin under my chin, and at 39, it's mortifying, especially as the rest of my face is tight. I'll be getting some and will report back to this sub if I see improvement.

It is not a quick fix, it gives a burst and leaves, its has life is in minutes like 3 or 4 minutes and cleared in around 20 minutes. it's a gradual thing but does improve collagen with the short burst.

I've been using GHK-Cu, almost through my first 2 month cycle. Can't really speak to the skin tightening aspects of it yet as I had already lost about 55 lbs when I found out about it, now at about 72.

BUT, one thing I have noticed: I've got a genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, that affects connective tissue and collagen in the body. My finger nails have always been extremely brittle. They split super easily, I keep them cut as close to the quick as I can, because If I don't, they will spilt vertically INTO the nail bed and that really sucks. Here's the thing, starting about 2 weeks into the cycle, I noticed my nails were stronger. I had forgotten to clip them and they weren't splitting! Since then I've only had one split, when I banged my finger on a hard surface.

Now I still keep my nails cut pretty short, and they aren't as strong as a non-EDS person, but they are WAY better than prior to starting the GHK-Cu.

So that's my experience thus far.

I have lots of loose skin after losing 79kg so it must be the fact that I did not use Glow to prevent it. ( I am genuinely happy to have this problem )
Everything I have ever read or understand about how the human body works says it is not something that will be affected by a peptide. The elastin and collagen fibrous tissue bands that go through the subcutaneous fat connecting the skin to underlying tissues have got longer from chronic stretch, any of these still under tension will shrink back in size once weight is lost, but if they have grown longer I just do not believe they will remodel. It is not inconceivable that local treatments could work but getting them to work evenly would probably be impossible.
If the peptides were affecting connective tissue growth at that scale ( all over the body under the skin and enough to tighten loose skin ), I would be seriously worried about it promoting fibrous tissue growth everywhere else like in the heart, lungs or kidneys causing serious organ dysfunction.
Of course there is no way to ever tell if it worked short of a huge clinical trial. If you don't have loose skin at the end it is going to look like it worked. I would be seriously impressed if you could placebo effect subcutaneous tissue remodeling.

I have lost too much weight and I'm too old, the only thing that will fix the extra skin is a surgeon at this point. Spanx are my forever friends.

That being said, I do take GHKcu, and while I love what it does for my overall skin, it does have a lot of other benefits than those more cosmetic purposes. I love it, will always have it on hand.

I find that organ growth theory a bit of I don't think its true. Show me research that supports that? Never heard of any causing organ growth except from high doses of hgh.

I did not say organ growth, but fibrous tissue growth in those organs, if it is stimulating fibrous tissue growth, it is likely to be doing it everywhere. Those blends are advertised to work on soft tissue injuries not just skin. Fibrous tissue growing in your heart muscle for example will cause heart failure. My logic is, if it does work as advertised, it is dangerous. My guess is it is degraded too quickly to do a lot? ( as there are no human studies, or even animal studies of the blends )

That's like splitting hairs so then research that supports that theory? if its just your theory that's like yelling fire in a movie theater

Well, when I started taking peptides I weighed in at 334 and 54 years old. I take KLOW daily and figure that it can't hurt the situation. I don't think that I'm going to avoid sagging skin all I can do it hope that its reducing wat I do end up with.

It’s hard to say if someone’s skin would be less loose have they have used GHK-CU on their weight loss journey. However, as I see it it’s cheap and could aid in having less loose skin, as well as having other benefits. I’d say it’s worth a try!
I’ve been using glow or klow alongside a GLP 1 and I’ve just ordered some GHK-CU to use on its own in between the cycles of klow

I've got EDS, too. Looking forward to nail improvement! Mine used to be pretty good, but once I hit my late 30s, I've got ridges.

There’s no way for GHKcu to affect the tip of your fingernails in two months.

I wish it could be weekly, I don't know if I can deal with daily needles. I'm such a baby, ha ha. Is it one that burns?
Mine doesn't burn at all but I've seen a lot of people say theirs does, not sure why.

I mean like I said, mine doesn't at all, you could give it a shot! Also, pens might be less intimidating, the needles go thinner too

60 yrs old. Lost 40 lbs on Tirz. Loose skin on neck.

I've started GHK-Cu. Accidentally at 1mg dose every morning (meant to do .5 the first few days but made a mistake with the online calculator!).

I double-diluted the GHK. 3ml into the vial of 100mg. Pulled out half, put into an auto-pen, and added another 1.5ml. I chose 32ga needles, 8mm long, to get a bit deeper (had read the more dilute, and deeper the injection the less the pain).

So far zero pain after each injection! Literally nothing.

Doing GHK-Cu cream on the face every night after a good cleaning and micro-needling as well. Skin feels noticeably better at day 4 from the topical. Too soon to tell on the injectable GHK.

Side note: the auto-pen is so convenient I may switch to one for the weekly Tirz as well. It's a PITA to set up the first time (hence my accidental double dose), but super-convenient when it's shot time. 15 sec vs 3 minutes.

Site note 2: Don't buy your autopen from Amazon. They are literally 1/3 the price from sources mentioned all over this website.

I follow this with amazing results

GHK-CU: 100MG IN 3ML VIAL

RECONSTITUTION

Mix with 2.5mL (250 units) of BAC water

DOSING

3 – 6 units (1-2mg), 1x/day, 7 days/week. Start at lowest dose and gradually increase as needed to sustain benefits.

that's pretty much what I'm doing. Only I diluted it again as I put it in an auto pen, as an effort to minimize the sting I had heard GHK-Cu has. Seems to have worked, I haven't had any discomfort at all, injecting SubQ into the abdomen.

Is there an error in your numbers? 2.5 units would be 1mg, 5 units would be 2mg, if you reconstituted with 2.5ml? I reconstituted with 3ml so mine is just a tad different.

Another EDS person here. My nails aren't stronger after using KLOW for about 6 weeks, and the ridges in my thumbs are still there, BUT they are growing really, really fast now. I do wonder if they'll be stronger once the new growth reaches my fingertips.
