🚨BREAKING🚨 Peptide Sciences - Gone

It is starting? The collapse of grey?
They aren't truly grey, they are a single vial reseller. Good riddance.

True grey isn't going anywhere, but the number of new grey purchasers is increasing at a very steep rate, which will potentially complicate the markets and will likely move rates some.

Rather short-sighted.

If they are not grey then wtf are they providing?

They state "voluntary" but I wonder if they weren't voluntold.

I never used them, nor have I been to their site. Were they skating that fine line between just selling research peptides and offering use advise??

Then there is the Reta situation on the scammers manipulating test results for profit at Finnrisk, which multiple vials were sent in that did not contain reta...but we all know how easily the scammers manipulating test results for profit at Finnrisk is manipulated.

Perhaps they decided to take the money and run? Get out while the getting is good?

All speculation, but with it coming on the heels of other moves by the FDA, it does justify some scrutiny as the the reason why.

They had great research articles.

wonder if those research articles were enough to land them in hot water? Dunno, I'm purely speculating at this point.

Maybe, but I think time will tell on that. I think the curtailing of price gougers like this, especially those located domestically may take some heat off other distribution channels.

I may be wrong.

The fear-mongers and easily panicked will of course use this to fuel their sky is falling world view.

My head isn't in the sand, I've got a couple years worth of the stuff I use as a hedge, but i'm not thinking this is the end.

I have long said that if/when the day comes that Peptide Sciences is no more, that the entire complexion of the domestic research peptide market would change dramatically.

Perhaps they decided to take the money and run? Get out while the getting is good?
They have faced countless challenges and attempts to shut them down over the years, and always successfully came out on top. While there's no doubt the owners have had more than enough money to retire on for years, they never stopped trying to make more.

They had a reputation for investing in some of the best legal representation possible (unlike most other domestic vendors who wouldn't have any idea what kind of lawyer to call if the shit hit the fan, never mind have the foresight to put a large percentage of profits into a legal rainy day fund). Knowing that, I tend to believe something happened or was about to happen that their legal team told them they could not overcome, and they took that advice and raised the white flag.

So a reseller has it still in stock they bought from them. Not the same
I've seen alot of peptide sciences on India mart, never ordered though. I always wondered if it was cheaper to make it here, then ship it over there? Huh!

Opinions seem to vary.on why. This discussion mostly thinks their reputation was tanking so they took the money and ran.

Huberperson seems convinced that Eli Lily is lobbying hard to protect future reta profits and the gov is about to drop the hammer on grey markets.

The fact that this is all happening right after the CNY break (and accompanying backlog), on top of huge shipping complications from Iran makes it really hard to suss out exactly what's going on here.

Only time will tell, I suppose. Regardless, I'm confident the grey market will stick around in one form or another no matter how this all plays out.

They probably got pushed out by the Grey. STG gets new users every second and Reddit is also flooded with people looking for sources.

I just saw the latest price list from ERP and you have to spend 598 to get out of the 50 dollar shipping.

Demand is high, so prices aren't dropping. Just more vendors popping up and a lot of them have random stock.

I miss the big vendors that had 4 page price lists and free shipping over 300.

Piecemealing an order from multiple vendors sucks.

I don't follow this grey reference a lot are saying in there post? All these peptides are grey? All come from china and are just relabeled and sold under there co name. If they are not all grey then what are they?

Lmao so thankful for them dropping GLP-1s a few months back. I probably would’ve bought from them at fuck ass pricess instead of doing more research and getting a kit at the price of one of their vials.
Not uncommon a lot of first timers started with what we thought was a decent price and eventually find kits and lower prices.

I doubt it. There is way too much money involved.

While I suppose the owner of this particular company could have closed because they made all the money they feel they need and have retired. On the other hand its just as likely that they are restructuring to make the business model more secure and plan to reopen under a new, less notorious name.

Seriously? I think you dramatically over-estimate the impact of the "grey" market as it applies to average buyers.

Direct-to-consumer "Grey" (presuming you mean sourcing from China) is an insignificant drop in the bucket compared to domestic resellers. 90% of suburban Karens and Kevins who will only user their credit card are never going to consider sourcing from overseas as long as there are domestic options. Even if they have to figure out how to get rolls of bitcoins to pay.

All peptides that don't come in regulated and branded packages from pharma companies and that can't be searched on the NIH or FDA websites are grey.
