Pre filling syringes?

This is a huge nope, for me. Syringes are not meant to hold things long term. If you choose to do this, it ups your chances of at the very least, ISRs and at the worst infections like cellulitis.
Says who? I've done this numerous times over the years and have had 0 issues. The syringes are sterile, or, no less sterile than the 5ml vials I filter my peps into.

Now, having said that, I don't keep pre-filled syringes in my fridge for more than ~10-14 days (and always keep refrigerated).

It is not about sterility of the syringe, it is about the seal. You do you.

Thoughts on filling my syringes of tesa and having them ready for the week? Anyone do this
I do this with KLOW to make my night time routine easier. I load for the week and store them in a baggie in the fridge. This is the way the local Doctors Weight Loss clinic supplies their medication. It cuts down on the time to gather all of my materials needed, pull up the med, administer, then put everything back up. Makes my nights easier.

Comparing what comes from a regulated sterile production environment that’s supplied in sterile packaging to what we do with our alcohol wipes in our homes is laughable.

I don’t have a problem with water based solutions sitting against the plunger… not a fan of doing it with oil based.

Exposing the needle to atmosphere, drawing the solution, then storing it for a period of time before inserting it in the body is a contamination vector. So is the needle exposing the medication to atmosphere (plus degradation). It’s not typically a practical issue for the average healthy immune system short term storage.

Yeah the responses I’m reading are insane. Overconfident and even a little condescending.
Mmm yessss pensssss…. Come over to the dark side!

Seriously, I love mine. Peppens has some beautiful product. Especially with water based, it’s 10/10. My oil based it isn’t quite as easy/nice but I think I need to go up a gauge or two. Water based I’m not looking back.
I don’t think I’ll be doing anything with oil based products, but out of curiosity, is the prep mostly the same? Does it come reconstituted? I assume you prime just the same and all that.

Whoaaa I don’t remember typing that first part. Probably just forgot to delete it but since I posted it, might as well just keep it up.

Okay! I'm going down the rabbit hole 😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣

Just looked at Peppens and those look really cool. A whole new thing to learn.... You'd think I was back in school...

Any recommendations on v1 or v2? or the disposable one?

My oil comes from a script, but yes it comes ready to rip. I normally soak the vial in warm water for a bit to make it quicker to draw with a 29ga needle.

There seems to be a lot of variation in the quality of V1 and V2 pens from what I've read. I've utilized a convipen and gensupen thus far and they're both been accurate.

I'm currently doing 250 mcg of BPC and TB-500 and it totally makes the daily injections much easier.

Seconded. I really like my pens, and I got my cartridges there too. But the pens are labelled with what it is, my dosage, my frequency, and how many units. Pull, wipe, dial, needle on, shoot, go back and sit on the couch.

I have HRT through a clinic. Estrogen and testosterone are hydrophobic so they need oil to dissolve. Since it’s rx, I don’t recon or anything like peps, like someone said it comes in a vial ready to rock. The estrogen is from a mainline pharm company but the test is from a larger compounder, I’m at a more dilute “female” concentration. I still only take 6u per poke… it’s not much but helps nicely.

The oil loads the same as water based. I used a Leuer needle to vent, finding YT was my key to getting going. Text description can only do so much.

Oil is just so slow. I found a workaround with a heating pad but then I cooked my oil. Heating pads are 110 f on low. I forgot about it for some hours. “She’s dead, Jim.” $300 mistaken(with shipping.)

Larger gauge is next step, 30-31 take a long time to move.

I think I have V2, thought about the disposable but decided to go with cartridges since they were slightly cheaper for maintenance parts.

Just to make night time routine a little faster. Wasn’t sure if the rubber would break down in the syringe. Figured it wouldn’t work was just curious
So you'd be better off doing this with a peptide pen. You can buy supplies to make your own pens. It's a little intimidating the first time you do it, but by the 3rd or 4th pen you'll be pro.

To be clear here, DO NOT buy a prefilled pen. MAKE YOUR OWN.

And when making a pen, STERILE WORKING CONDITIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Sterility is king

Thanks! I think I’ll give the V2 a try.

Do you get all your supplies from peppens or are the needles and cartridges interchangeable?
