As I understand it, Tirzepetide suppresses dopamine, which works to get rid of food noise and anticipatory dopamine. It works great for me, but it also causes anhedonia, so I'm feeling little desire to do things I previously enjoyed. Would love to hear if any of you have found a way to curb this.

I waited. After awhile, it seems like my brain got tired of sulking in the corner and weeping for more dopamine while declaring all the other stuff "not fun enough", and eventually it sighed, got used to the fact that I couldn't get that from food, and started pushing me to go do other stuff. Now I do lots of other stuff and am happy again, but it was months.

This can be an effect of weight loss and lower calorie intake and metabolic slowdown, not just from tirz. If you have been on it a while and lost a fair bit of weight, then it may be due to this and not the drug directly. You could try behavioural activation, go and do the things you do not currently feel like doing anyway and usually this results in positive feedback that improves mood and motivation? If you have only been on it a short time and not lost much weight it probably is the tirz, if it has persisted for more than a few weeks it might be worth trying reta instead?
Maybe try not to overthink it , the placebo effect is very real and it is super easy to talk yourself into these effects especially given you obviously know about the way it can interact with dopamine in reward circuitry. Overall the data does not show that GLP's increase depression, which suggests they are not causing anhedonia that is common and persistent.

Yup.

Some batches from some vendors causes mine. I stick to the ones that don't
