Poll of the week šŸ˜… BAC water: team more or less? (Tirz/Reta)

I always feel weird about injecting large volume. It somehow seems unnatural to inject 1 full cc of mostly water. But I used to be "team more" because I liked the idea of more accurate dosing. Then I realized that it probably doesn't matter all that much if you're off by 10% or so. You're going to have inaccuracy anyway based on overfill. So I'm more on "team less" now.
 
I go with whatever amount of BAC for the unit amount to end in a 0 or a 5. I don't want to be between tick marks on my insulin syringe. I prefer a smaller amount in general though, for whatever reason it's easier for my brain to deal/cope with injecting smaller unit amounts.
 
for Reta Iā€™m probably team less water.
I donā€™t like to pin more that 40-50 units. Depending on my dosage i will adjust my water to accommodate this.
 
I recon GLP-1's at 22 mg/ml, because I started with compound on a titration schedule of 2.2 mg (10 units) then 4.4 (20) and so on, and that's what I got used to, so it's easy for me to remember.

Only exception is Survo, which I stack in way smaller doses. I recon it so my dosage is 20 units.

KLOW I recon at 77mg (for the ghk-cu part)/12 ml. My dose is 34 units, and that's what it takes to not give me a painful bruise 12 hours later.

Epitalon, I like 10mg/ml so that 1 mg is 10 units.

For tirz, I recon to 0.5mg/1unit, which makes it easier to calculate the different doses my spouse and I take. I get 120 mg into my injection pen, and my dose is 20 units.

For KLOW, I take 5 units, which is 2mg of GHK-Cu and 0.4 mg of the others.

I mostly ignore the 28 day expiration thing, same as many others here. I think there was a whole thread on that a while back.

Interesting idea, and to see what others do. Probably should've started a poll, but regardless. Right now, I'm pinning 6mg Reta out of a R24 vial, so I add 2.4ml BAC. That gives me 4 pins @6mg. I have bunch of different sizes. If I do a 60mg Reta, I'd add 3ml BAC, that gives me 10 doses at 30mg pins to equal the 6mg required.

I usually dilute them so a dose is 0.1ml, or somewhere near there , using 0.3ml syringes. Tirz I just dilute the same as the legit version as I started on it so I just kept it the same so it would be easier to work out doses so 60mg 2.4ml , but I am using dosing every second day so still a small amount of 0.18ml is 4.5mg. Using smaller volumes lets me use one syringe for 2 peptides, the only one that did weird things like go cloudy was mots c mixed with hgh, otherwise it seems to work and is half the number of syringes.

Just to make sure I understoodā€¦
If youā€™re reconstituting your 120 mg with 2.4 ml of BAC into the injection pen, does the pen still dose accurately if itā€™s not completely filled during refilling (e.g. less than 3 ml in a 3 ml pen)?

Yes. You just have to put a needle on and push out all the air before using.

Usually I am a team less, I prefer my pins to be within 10-25 units so I usually adjust the BAC water to fit my personal preference. It's hard to see those little itty bitty hash marks on those syringes especially if it's less than 10 they all kinda blur together.
 
For GLP-1s, I've always been a believer that newbies should stick to something close to the big pharma dosing which is around .5 to .6mL until they are comfortable enough to do the reconstitution and dosage math in their heads without the aid of a calculator (or only use a calculator to confirm their math). Especially for someone starting out, dosage accuracy can make a big difference in side-effects, and a more dilute solution will always make for more accurate dosing (and can actually slow down tissue absorption possibly mitigating side-effects).

Personally, I aim for .2 to .3mL fluid volume.

Lower fluid volume (i.e. higher peptide concentration) can result in a higher incidence of ISRs with some people, and certain peptides often require more diluent in order to ensure the powder dissolves thoroughly and properly.
 
Team more, I prefer better accuracy in the dose. I don't care injecting large volume of BAC water neither I have any phobia about needles etc.
 
@Mara_aa if you're in Italy, were you able to get bacteriostatic water? I hope you know that the more commonly available European diluent does not have the same official 28-day guidance.

With true bac water, I'll go up to 3 months.

I'm a "less" (currently 15mg tirzepatide @ 20 unit jabs). The downside to less volume is less precision, so I'm very precise when I reconstitute (using a reverse calculator) and then I pray a lot. Atheist grey-market prayers.
 
Team less, even when I was really trying to micro dose my tirz down. I was still using less than 10u.

NAD+ has been acceptable at 1mg/unit. Just go slow and if it starts to sting wait a second before continuing to press the plunger. I havenā€™t felt the need to dose above 30u.

Cu I have diluted by drawing additional BAC first but even then Iā€™m 15-20u.

3mL syringes are on another planet. Pass the 0.30 tyvm.

Really helpful for anyone reading this, definitely raised the level of this poll.
I can see how a more diluted setup makes dosing easier and more accurate at the start.
