Needle size for SubQ injections - help!

ya so to walk thru it all so someone can tell me " ahh hell no don't do that " I'm adding 1ml bac to r10 to reconstitute so that is 2 syringe fulls - 50ml syringes .5ml
or....
I guess I could do 4 fills at 50ml (200ml) and then 10ml would equal .5mg reta vs 1.0. ( my first dose will be .5mg)
Which do u think is easier.

I plan .5mg this week then 1.0mg next week for 2 weeks and see how I feel.....
You seem to be mixing up your units and ml. A 0.5ml syringe is 50 units. So 4 fills at 0.5ml would be 2ml or 200 units.

The best we have found are 31g 5/16" or 8mm, they pin easy and pain free. A good brand is on amazon.
I had a look at Amazon needles, most of them say they aren't sterile, which is why I resort to getting them at the pharmacy, only problem is the length they give but from this thread people seem to manage

Hi all, I have been taking retatrutide for a few weeks and I had the effects (atleast the weight loss mainly) (hard to say if it was mainly from the hard work put in though) I have now purchased from a supplier here, I was using 13mm needles and now I have some 12.7mm ones (the ones supplied from UK pharmacies) I was wondering if these are too large/long - I know a lot of people use 8mm, could I just choose not to insert the whole needle? Or what angle would be best, I do have a decent amount of belly fat so I believe angled the 12.7mm should work - just wondering if any advice ! Thanks
For syringe needles 31guage, 4-6mm.. For pen needles for glps etc 32G 4mm, but for GHK-cu and blends of that 8-mm has been long enough to avoid sting. For me..
I dont like the idea of a longer needle swirling around nickking bloodvessels etc. I go as short as I can.

I have 31g 8mm because I got them for free. When I have to get more I am going to get 29g or thicker. The 31g bend too easily for me.
The 29's poke a little more that the 31. My wife hated the 30g I had. I only had a few, and using them for something else. The 31 do bend, but mainly going in the stopper. I've got it down pretty good now. Dead center on it helps a ton.

If you get sterile vials, and transfer your pep (and I recommend you filter) into that, they have the thinner self healing caps that are easy to pierce with skinny needles and dont dull them as much!

I tried doing it in the center but I guess I'm too rough with it or something. The damn thing even bends when I pin sometimes. Needle pokes don't bother me subq. I don't think I could ever be an IV drug user though.

Most vendors are using those heavy plugs. They are not meant for re-drawing and dosing. You should transfer to a new vial with self healing cap.

I do just that but the stopper doesn't seem any more forgiving than the vials powder ships to me in.

Really? The ones I bought are just like the kind from the pharmacy. They should be described as self healing? Meant for many uses..

I got some empty vials coming in before I gotta make a new batch this weekend and hopefully they've got thinner plugs. I got like 80 of those thin needle syringes left. The syringes that I use for reconstituting are a lot thicker. Those are 26g I think.

They are self-healing sterile, non-pyrogenic vials. I just don't find them any/much easier to pierce than the lyophilized powder vials.

I use 30g 8mm insuline syringes for glp1 (sema and reta). Any advise on Ghc-cu? I'm starting it soon, can I use the same size or should I try something different?

May I ask where you buy them? If you say Hawaii, I'm out.
I have bought things from different vendors and I can't remember. Look for the phrases:
Sterile, self healing injection port, and description that mentions many uses or draws.
I just googled and found these.. I have not purchased them before.

I have seen people mentioned that Ks-Tek vials were tested..but can't confirm

Look for sterile, non-pyrogenic. ALK is the brand to look for, I'm told. KS-Tech also offered up to me as good, safe source.
You have a link to those ALK vials young lady? I have 10 3ml KS-Tech vials. I guess I'm going to start filtering.

medical-and-lab-supplies.com

biopharmworld.com

I think also premiumvials.com

InjectionShop and PeptideTest also carry, I believe. Not sure if they are ALK. Can't remember.

KS-Tech is supposed to be just fine. Don't go get something else if you already have them.

Started at 8mm 30g 1ml syringes...switched to 5ml 31g pens and loving life! Still use my 30g for recon and transfer to pen vials tho
