I’ve been taking retatrutide since January. I increased my dose very slowly, and even stepped back down from 3mg to 2.5mg because the 3mg side effects were too much. I’ve read posts from other people about taking more than they intended, and I was always so sure that would never be me. Pride goeth before the fall, friends. I needed to take my 2.5mg dose today, but I forgot that I needed to reconstitute a new vial. Despite having a head cold, I pushed ahead, reconstituted my vial, and injected my normal 2.5mg dose. All good. Then I looked at my retatrutide kit and saw the 10 and thought, “Oh, crap, I reconstituted a 10mg vial instead of the 30mg vial I meant to. No problem. I’ll just calculate my new dose and inject more. Chat - I saw the quantity and confused it with the dose.
So, today I took 7.5mg of retatrutide instead of my intended 2.5. Fortunately, I’m stocked up on ginger chews, electrolytes, and Zofran. Just dreading the next 7-10 days. When I increased from 2.5-3, I had cycled off of KLOW. I’m hoping that the peptide blend blunts some of the dose-related GI inflammation since I’ve been back on it for about a week now.
Fingers crossed. I’ll update this post as the week progresses. Wish me luck!
