How do people try a new compound without buying a kit?

This is with a UK perspective, I've no idea how it works in the US etc. I've been doing this over the last couple months, when I've wanted to try something, I've been forced to take an absolute leap of faith and try 'random' UK peptide single vial seller websites. I've identified them either by a) A website I used years ago for SARMS sells them, and has COA's but they're expensive and don't have everything b) someone pretty knowledgeable on here making a passing comment about one but not explicitly saying who they are/website, I've put 2+2 together and tracked the odd one down. Or c) trawled UK based reddits, and seen what gym bros or broccolli heads are suggesting to each other. This is playing with fire and I don't like it, but I don't have much choice.

I've wanted to trial allsorts over the last couple of months, I've had Reta, Tirz, Mots, CJC+Ipa, and now have Tesa, Semax, Selank and Klow ready, but I've had to trial this stuff from single vial sellers, half of it without a COA (I know I'm being an idiot here and gambling), but I don't want to buy a kit form China, wait a month for it to turn up, find it out I don't get on with it, or it has zero effect, and then I'm lumbered with 9.x vials of it.

How do you guys do it? Do you trial single vials, or does everyone take the approach of buying kits only even for a test?

I've been looking at a few threads on here re group buys, but I don't think that's a go-er, and wouldn't know where to start, and it sounds like the process could be even longer.

It kinda feels like my current approach is to buy 1x vial of something I want to try from one of the UK online single vial sellers for a fortune, for pretty much the cost of a kit from China (it seems like across the board here they are 10x'ing their money by charging for a single vial what a kit costs, seems they price fix near enough across every site I can find), if I like it, then I have to add it to a mental shopping cart for when I do another bulk purchase from China as it doesn't make sense to pay $50 shipping for example for a $90 kit.
 
This is one of the benefits of Chinese vendors not being Amazon. Haggling is a normal and expected business practice over there.

Ask if you can buy some single vials to test next time you buy your regular stuff. Odds are that a lot of vendors will let you.
 
Wasn't aware of that, thanks for the tip! As singles were not on their price lists, and a lot of the contacts don't reply to messages for days on end at the best of times, I didn't want to push my luck!
 
I’ve seen a few vendors write something along the lines of customers should not be afraid to ask for single vials to try out. I’ve never discussed it with them and I guess it would probably have to come alongside a kit of something else. Other than that maybe you could strike up a deal and buy one off of someone in the UK?

I know that HPT and ZJ even did free samples at one point (three free samples with your order)! Last I asked, ZJ doesn't do that anymore. Might depend on how well-established they are and how fast/slow product is moving for them at the moment. Nevertheless, worth a try.

I'm from the US and originally bought 4 vials of different ones I wanted to try and overpaid a ton - $200+ total with the most affordable local vendors...but I liked the results so I pulled the trigger and got 6 kits of all new ones I haven't tried at all from US warehouse chinese people. I figured $60 for a single vial experiement vs $60-120 for a whole kit was almost the same or just a tad more for an experiment. If I don't like it, I can reassess later or give it away to family and friends who are in similar exploratory journeys.

Sounds like the position I'm in. Tbf I've tried to do as much research as possible before buying anything, to see if it's something I'd like, how it work, any sides etc, and I've not bought anything so far that I wouldn't buy again, so I probably could have gambled on kits, but with no Uk warehouses, it'd take 2-4wks to get here (not including current lockdown) and I'm not that patient 🙂

I feel your pain. And I am the same, not much patience for waiting and a little too much anxiety worrying about customs... I do see 2 chinese people have EU warehouses. Have you looked into them?

That might be where my stories goes, too even though I have no kids😂 But if you consumed 3 vials of MoTS and 6 of NAD, you saved and got your money's worth...

Yeah, I've checked out the guys with EU warehouses and they seem to carry very little stock, or do at the moment anyway, just a handful of the GLP's etc.
 
You can buy from domestic vendors but one bottle is usually the price of a kit or at best 1/2 the price. Buying singles from China isn't much better as they are around 1/4 the price of a kit plus shipping is $50 so you need to order quite a few samples/singles. I just buy full kits and hope for the best. Wish I had friends who ran peps so I could just give them the ones I didn't care for.

Same with US warehouses - stock is very limited, but you can always keep checking for restocking or maybe even ask them in their group wish lists. Sometimes enough people are interested, you never know.
 
I have a dumb follow up q... Is the idea that the whole kit comes from one batch so testing just one vial is representative of the rest of the vials? And group tests just help split the cost of one test among multiple members?

I've been using compounded tirz but with all the FDA crackdowns getting scared and looking into grey, but have also seen the endotoxin/sterility drama lately, and I'm nervous.

There’s only 2 people I know who are involved in Peps. All 3 of us have swapped, traded bought and sold to help eachother out but we pretty much all take the same things

Sorry Ryan I'm not a member, I meant that someone was saying that there are TG groups with a UK section for BST. I've got a stock now of virtually everything I was thinking about trying at this point, but if something pops up I'll go looking for those TG groups myself.

I'm a nearly 50 year old perimenopausal woman who finds all this faffing about (research) hard work! I've been pinning reta for a few weeks from a neighbour's supply, but she bought a pre-mix pen and i would prefer to do my own. I'd really just love a helpful buddy that can answer this old lady's questions. Would a telegram group like you mentioned be the place?
 
Honestly one vial from a single vial online seller is about the same price as a kit from Chn.
