Hi guys! First shipment just came in from SNP and am super stoked!

Nerves definitely got the best of me and I accidentally let all 2 mL of bac hit my reta before I realized what I just did. I also forgot to alcohol wipe the tops of my bac water and reta... 😅

Hopefully i didnt screw anything up but everything is still crystal clear after gently rolling it in my palms. Will not let my silliness take over again

Anyways, cant wait to pin in a bit! Any pointers for a first timer?

Slow down to speed up. You’ll be fine. Respect the process, respect the journey, everyone’s body is different. Continue to educate yourself. Go through the forum. All pointers for first timers are there.

Its still cool for me to use everything even though I missed the initial rubber stopper cleaning?

Ive been lurking for a while so I know there's lots of great advice around, just hoping for a hidden gem. Suppose thats silly if everyone has already said everything possible lol, thank you, friend!

It's not hard to that with the vacuum in the vial. Use good syringes. How much is the first first pin?

First pin is 1mg.

I popped in the needle (its easy touch) and it sorta just let all the bac water out without me touching it 🥲

Double check your calculations on the dilution with bac, and the dose, and then triple check with an online calculator. By far the most common thing to go wrong starting grey GLP's is dosing errors, and you do not want to puke for a week because you accidentally dosed 10 x what you thought. And label the vial and write down the number of mg of drug and how much bac you put in so you cannot forget or mix it up.

Is it worth filtering the vial you reconstituted, so potential bacteria from the stopper are filtered out?

Yes, it is mainly just a precaution. I’ve seen some YouTube tutorials where they say it is not necessary.

It’s more important to wash your hands thoroughly before touching anything. Your hands are likely much dirtier than your vial tops.

My wife wanted to do .5 mg to start, so I added 2 mL of bac to a 10mg vial that way she can get .5mg in 1 mL / 10 units.

For myself I just did a 1:1 ratio (1 mL of bac to a 10mg vial so 1mg is 1 mL for me).

I made sure to triple check the math and stuff but now im worried lol

10mg/ml for you with a dosage of 10u = 1mg
5mg/ml for your wife with a 10u= 0.5mg

Be sure to account for any overfill (or underfill) on your vials when reconstituting. It is rare a 10mg vial contains 10mg, on my experience it is more likely to be 12mg overfilled than exactly 10mg.

This is why testing for mass/ purity is so important

With a 12mg vial it would be 1.2 ml Bac for you to get 10mg/ ml and 2.4ml for your wife to get 5mg/ml

Having BAC water is a newbie right of passage! Honestly caught me off guard the first time and my BPC foamed up like crazy. Had the same worries as you but it should be fine. You’ll find conflicting information online about it but I’ve settled that the peptides aren’t as delicate as we may think. Heck I even shake them when they’re being finicky during recon and are still working as expected.

Good practice to wipe with alcohol before and after every use. Has it ruined the peptide? Is a colony of brain eating bacteria being introduced? Unlikely 😁

Pointers from me would to give the time for the pep to do it’s magic. I see a lot of people wanting to titrate up super quick with reta when it’s designed to have 4 week escalations. Should you start at 2mg and follow trial dosing? Sure, your results should be in line with what the data shows. Do you wanna start lower and go slower with titrations? Sure! Find what works best for you.

Goodluck!

Sounds like math was right for the most part, thank goodness 😳

I'll definitely go recheck to see if they overfilled and adjust accordingly. Thanks for letting me know that!

I too was getting mixed answers of "totally fine" and "expect to be in the ER within the next few hours" for my minor hiccups lol

Definitely gonna have to play around with dosing. I see people say once a week is fine, but others pin twice a week. More and more things to reconsider the more and more I read 🤣

Slow until you know how you body responds.

Some people are more sensitive to GLP1 than others. It will take time for the Glp1 to build up in your body the half-life is 5 days so you won’t know what if it is working or not for 4 weeks.

This will be more sustainable if you are able to avoid the side effects.

Drink more water than you think, you need.

You can’t eat enough fiber. Not supplements, vegetables will keep your digestive tract functioning.

Your body is also going to need more protein to keep from losing lean muscle mass.

I followed a fairly standard protocol. Started with 2mg, increased by 1mg per month. It was pretty clear that Reta was amazingly effective for me and moving up needed to be done slowly. I went from 4 to 5mg at the start of April, and had to back down to 4mg for a bit. I'm 2 or 3 pounds from my goal weight and I started just before Jan 1, 2026.

I know there are a lot of freestyle dose fans here. I'm pretty much a fan of keeping it modest and following normal procedures. I am down more than 60 pounds!!

That's amazing! I'm hoping for more or less the same. My SW is 260, hoping to hit around 200, and gain some muscle since im 98% fat haha.

What was your SW??

Welcome to the rabbit hole.

Caution... 3 3/4lbs/wk is steep...

Next time just hold the plunger and let it go in slower. You'll get it.
I’ve never slowly added Bac. I let the vacuum determine the speed. Peps are not the delicate flowers folks think. That rumor was started by AAS seller selling junk- if the buyer got no response, it was blamed on “rough recon.” In truth it was due to no peps and scamming. That’s why folks initially started testing. Watch the interviews w/Peter Magic- he owns/runs Janoshec (sp) testing.

"Good practice to wipe with alcohol before and after every use" I've seen this elsewhere. What's the point of wiping the vial top AFTER drawing???

Peace of mind? Lol. Idk, I would do it after as well. Just makes me feel like its extra clean always.

Thanks. I watched it.
