Vitamins and Supplements - What are you on?

Kirkland mature daily vitamin. First time taking a multivitamin, and the fact that it is for older people makes me feel old.
The fact that I'm on this many vitamins and supplements makes me feel old haha I've taken a multi for as long as I can remember but most of the other stuff is doctor recommended

I really should get back on creatine but worried it might dehydrate me once I start on reta...

Meh. High side you're looking a 2-3 .5l bottles of water absorbed over a week or two if you do a loading cycle. Worrying is usually a waste of effort, this is no exception.

I looked into your stack, I really like it for recovery and performance, how long have you been running it?
I started PHGG for mitigation of starting GLP sides in December, then D3K2 in January based on bloodwork. I also started TRT the same time as D3K2, but didn't think of that when thinking of "supplement or vitamin."

Creatine was the most recent addition, last week.

Taurine is the most likely to get cut, but I'm no particular rush (I'll decide when it comes time to reorder). I ordered more glycine today.

I'm also on TRT (pellets) for 3 years now. The Fish Oil, D3-K2, CoQ10 and Arginine are "doctors orders." I added everything else based on my own research about 1 year ago and my recent labs were good to go.

I'm going to look into adding the HBM-FA, Glycine and Taurine to my stack. 👍🏾 Why you thinking about x-ing the Taurine?

Let's see if I can remember them all, lol

Liquid multivitamin
Magnesium
potassium
Vitamin C & D
Calcium
Nicotinamide riboside
B9 Methyl Folate + B12 Methylcobalamin
Acidophilus
Collagen peptides

Sometimes I take Iodine, grassfed liver, boron, fish oil gummies, Folinic Acid, zinc

Hi all,

Curious what vitamins and supplements y'all are on, I'll go first:
Glucosamine + Chondroitin
Omega 3 Fish Oil 1200mg
Vit C 1000mg
Plant Enzymes 140mg
L-Argenine 1000mg
CoQ10 400mg
Vit D3 5000iu
Zinc 50mg
DHEA 50mg
Centrum for Men
That’s a good stack!

For me HMB-FA is for the anti catabolic protection for lean mass during my extended, moderately aggressive cut.

Glycine and Taurine are to help sleep, glycine seems meaningful, taurine has not. My first 5mg of glycine was like a weighted blanked being pulled over my consciousness, which was pretty cool in the feels department.

I am a novice to taking supplements. Are you guys taking all these supplements all at once? Not like a fistful of vitamins, but I mean all in the morning? Or how ever your routine is?

I take things when I wake up and when I go to bed, depending on their purpose.

It's something like 6 pills and 1 scoop in the morning, 6 pills and 3 scoops at night... I think. Plus the PHGG scoop in my protein shake in the morning, assuming I have one.

I take Magnesium Glycinate and Melatonin when I'm winding down for bed (forgot to mention those in my stack). If I added Glycine I'd take it at the same time.

Everything else...a fistful of vitamins after my first meal of the day.

However, when on creatine I try to take it before I work out.

Wound, how many mg of HBM FA are you on? Are we allowed to discuss the brands that you like on here?

As far as WADA legal substances go:

Creatine 5-10g/day with protein shake
Multivitamin every other day
Vitamin D (I don't get enough)
ZMA (makes me dream, counteracts cannabis for restful sleep)
Fish oil (when I remember)

Preworkout supplements:
Tadalafil 5mg (crazy pumps)
Cannabis (probably doesn't help, but whatever, f you)
Salbutamol 4mg (occasionally)
Yohimbine (for fasted AM cardio, I never do this)
Six Star PWO from Amazon (it's basic, idc)
Laffy taffy (yellow or pink, carbs make muscles go zooom)

I should probably post my full stack at some point so someone smarter than me can let me know if im gonna croak.💀

And if you're wondering, I look like crap, total DYEL. But I used to be worse.

EDIT: Looks like I'm allowed to talk about sources now? Sweet! Thanks guys!

Nice. That Tadalafil l tho...I'd be on it but it gives me slight headaches. Doc suggested L-Arginine. I do still have the script tho...might get it again for my workouts with my wife 😂

I love the laffy taffy...the importance of having fast acting carbs to drive protein muscle synthesis cannot be understated. Helps with the munchies too lol

Thanks this helps on creating my routine!

Two grams in the morning, two at night. Ideally it be split for mid day as well, which I did 3x daily for the first couple months or so (3g daily then).

I get two bottles a month delivered, I skipped this month to burn through some extra bottles I have.

I take the same and I AM old, so there's that. 😂 Only other thing I take is Meloxicam for a creaky hip, but 3 months on Tirz has eliminated all the aches and creaks, gonna be weaning off the Meloxicam soon.

The evidence for fish oil has gotten less and less positive over time except for specific situations(very high triglycerides, preterm birth). The evidence for cardiac benefits has mostly reversed to it being shown to be detrimental. Doctors are behind(as usual 😆) and some physician organizations have had their guidelines impacted by people that own fish oil companies. I suggest you take a look at the newer studies if you are still being told it's good for heart health.

I take:
Kelp powder for iodine and dental health(standardized iodine content)
Vitamin D for chronic deficiency
Inositol 40:1 for reproductive system support(2,000mg:50mg twice daily)
B12 weekly lozenge
Ritual Iron w/500 mg vitamin C three times a week for iron deficiency due to my cycle going nutso and making me bleed for 3 week long stretches(daily iron creates more hepcidin which interferes with iron absorption). I've tried cheaper forms but the expensive stuff does work faster. Anemia is miserable. It's non-heme but my blood test results show it working very well.
