Reconstituting Peptide Damage!?
I Have a question about damaging lycophilized Semaglutide during Reconstitution.
If you add BAC water on a side angle but the reconstitution needle isn't directly touching the side wall of the glass, and the BAC water is still directly hitting the powder, is that significant damage to the peptide?

I'm noticing my Semaglutide not working for awhile now and wondering if it has to do with my reconstituting method.

Thanks for your answers.

I've never had a problem with sema not working after reconstituting, even if the needle was pointing directly at the powder. However, I did build a tolerance to it quickly, as did other people I know. I'm guessing the same is happening with you.
Okay maybe it's something else like freezing it and then adding BAC water to the frozen powder (on this vial maybe)
Thanks

No. A thousand times no.

This myth that these peptides are sensitive delicate creatures that will wilt if you look at them wrong needs to die.

I don't know how it got started, but when people are posting scared because they knocked over their vial on to its side or left them out of the fridge for 10 minutes, it's gone too far.

I have to admit to some confusion over how they can be transported pretty indelicately across the world and survive but as soon as they are reconstituted they become super fragile. I still act like they are that fragile just in case, but I have a feeling its a bit of an over reaction.

Not that I disagree that peptides are more robust than we are commonly led to believe, but I think there is a meaningful difference in fragility between lyophilized vials and reconstituted vials. Just because peptides in their freeze-dried state are okay to be jostled in the shipping process doesn't mean that once reconstituted they should be subjected to the same conditions. Reconstituted peptides can be prone to aggregation and precipitation in ways that lyophilized peptides are not. But agree, shooting bac into a puck isn't likely an issue. But I'm not sure if we can compare shipping conditions to reconstituted conditions.

I think the "magic" happens when we reconstitute, and I'm not talking about Peter 🤣. It's like fluffing egg whites. They are delicate. Egg whites on their own, not so delicate. Same foodstuff, different states.

Interview with multiple lab techs has confirmed for me that injecting direct on powder doesn't hurt peptides. Neither does shaking them up when reconstituting. According to one source, the "gymbros" would be very surprised to see how a lab tech shakes up a vial when reconstituting for testing.

I've suspected this, that it was a rumour or an old tale. Happy be proven wrong with some sort of Lab data and testing, but I suspect that none will ever appear.

What do you also mean by the semaglutide not working? Not saying that the vial or batch might not be working, but is this based on pace of weight loss decreasing or weight gain with no other changes?

I usually mix mine by using the vial as a birdie and play badminton with my daughter for 10 minutes. I'm not too worried about a little squirt of water.
I'm considering putting mine in a toilet paper tube and letting the cat play with it for a while, whilst I sip a respectable beer.

Pace of weight loss. Been like 10-11 weeks total. Haven't lost a pound in 3 weeks. Doing 2.2 mg every 5 days instead of 7 now.

Possible I'm building a tolerance which is why I'm adding CG 1mg
