How much do you trust India Mart's stuff?

I'm looking to buy some things, and it very difficult to shake the ick factor (despite that ill gladly pin myself all day with sketch china peps). Anyone have good, solid trust building experiences with India Mart?
IndiaMart can be like Amazon - good and bad. I usually buy from skitesintl or viagcial (both in India) who are very affordable and reputable. Many of us in another group I'm in (not peps) buy from them. I've irdered a lot of things and never had fake items or customs seizures. They even send mutliple shipments for large orders to avoid suspicion. I can't say they have everything you need, but you can email them and ask. They are both well rated on trustpilot, too.

A large portion of generics are just rebranded from India.
This is true. I would go further and point out that the entire medical system culture in India is different. It's just like the banking system. In India, you have banks coming to your home asking you to open an account, and you never have to pay a monthly fee to hold an account. Similarly, you don't need a prescription to buy the medicine of your choice from any local medical shop. One phone call and they come and deliver it to your doorstep. The fascist state is trying to stop this, of course. The generic medicine industry was attacked in the last decade by their version of big pharma but fortunately, they failed.

I have gotten glutathione, antibiotics, lidocaine, bicarb, vitamin C serum for injection, iv multivitamins, cardiac meds for my dog- they were from a pharmacy, and all worked as they were supposed to do. I generally use one or 2 vendors and don’t go through IndiaMart after the initial inquiry because you get a LOT of messages from pharmacies.

I've gotten some horse meds off of vendors on IndiaMart...probably 1/4 the price if I were to go through my veterinarian..plus I did get some horse tranquilizers that are notoriously difficult to get from a veterinarian's office.
I horse camp, having horse tranquilizers on hand if something goes extremely south is a must...yes I also pack, incase something catastrophic happens and I would have to put one of them down quickly, thank God, that hasn't happened.

I just haven't been able to get over the ick factor. I'll go on the website and look at some stuff and then the next three days I'm bombarded with emails from every supplier under the sun looking to sell me z-pak or whatever I was looking for.

Beyond Care is a name I rememer being mentioned in the forum. Seems like that they have a pretty extensive line of products.

Prior thread. But if you search, I'm sure you'll find more:

I have two regular vendors, initially sourced via a blind IndiaMart inquiry. I do research the manufacturing labs when I receive my orders, and so far all are made by large Indian pharmaceutical companies. Their pharmacy system is just open in India, compared to US. They don't really need scripts and the prices are crazy cheap. I have ordered generic anti-coagulants, antibiotics, prednisone, allopurinol and more. The communication has been great, very responsive. All good so far.

I just got my first order from Beyond Care based on recommendations here. I totally over ordered but everything arrived nicely packaged and as expected. I have enough antibiotics and retin-a creams for the end of the world. I got a few other things as well but now that they are here, I am a little hesitant to take them. I will probably eventually try them but not in a hurry. I wish group testing/COA was a thing.

I saw it mentioned twice. What's this ick factor?

Exactly.
stuuff looks sketchy...brand names are us rreliable and british pharma, but those brands only exist in india, and the boxes look old , dingy m and messed up. nothing looks clean and sterile

Ah I see.. Okay, in India there are many manufacturers who have export licenses and they operate almost exclusively dealing with exports. There are huge tax benefits and profit margins. They use Anglospherical brand names for obvious reasons. They often pay to make the packaging look trivial because there is huge customs and excise duty there, with chief target being luxurious-looking items. When I was there, I've lost count of the amount of customs I had to pay-often more expensive than the product.

Anglospherical brand names
English is an official national government language of India, along with Hindi in the north, and primary to Hindi in much of the country. Those are the obvious reasons.

At the states level, 20+ local languages are also authorized as official.

Yes, Indian central government has two official languages- English and Hindi. Hindi is used in the Hindi belt relegated to the central and north of india. It's not used much in the South.

Oh, I’m definitely being a snot 🤣. They are just trying to make a buck and can get aggressive sometimes like sellers at a bizarre or flea market.
Oh you mean the sellers there? Yes that's how the Indiamart website is set up. I find that far more convenient than the setup with the Chinese peps for instance, where you need to expend more effort to get the job done. I remember, last year as I was shopping for stuff in Indiamart, I was inundated with offers from others, I checked them all out by comparing reviews, prices, length of operation, then copy-pasted a thank you-not interested response to those I didnt choose. Easy-Peasy.

It might completely ick you out to know Indian manufacturers also export generic drugs to US pharmacies.

What I've gotten has been clean and effective.

Exactly...they make for multiple brands here who simply add their own brand label to the same exact product. It's the same with those jeans manufacturers in Bangkok. It comes down an assembly line, exact same item, and people tack on labels like Wrangler, Lee, Levi's, or whatever. People comfortable with bleating will pay for that tacky label, and the sweat expended in the shop will become worth it.
But yeah,
What I've gotten has been clean and effective.
same here. Only wish they had cheaper, more recent peps.

The generic Z-Pack I just took (from a legit USA brick & mortar pharmacy using my health insurance) is marked with a China manufacturer for an (allegedly) USA company.

So why won't Bella or Tracy or Cuihua sell them to me directly for 99 cents a strip like Pooja or Preethi or Ganga do? It's so unfair, Dear.

I used some test from India, but after seeing some testing done on India test, I get mine elsewhere now. Testing indicated cross contamination with other steroids, underdosing, and unknown carrier oil.
I really like the test I'm using now with MCT oil. I've got some in Grape Seed oil coming to try out.

Sadly, "healthcare" is a business model in the US.

Would you mind sharing the vendor info for the horse meds. I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Thanks

Realistically, it is a business model everywhere. It's just that it's more of a free market in India than here, which is such an irony. The Indian constitution has the wretched word "socialist" added into it, and their healthcare is more capitalist while here it's crony capitalist.

Agreed. I am from 🇸🇻 and have a lot of doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists in my family. My closest uncle who is an oncologist receives kickbacks from pharma and is pretty brainwashed.
Meds are much cheaper, though. A type 1 diabetic friend of mine here in the US lost health coverage and needed insulin. I got it out there for him at 1/10 of the price - name brand, too. So even though it is for profit, the 3rd world countries offer it at a way lower cost due to their economies and the fact private health insurance isn't a thing - most have government healthcare or pay out of pocket, which financially makes a difference.

That has not been my experience. All of my medications are perfectly packaged in new packaging similar to what is found in the US.
