PSA: You deserve clothing that fits you now

I am interested in getting some better fitting clothes. I am just not sure how much time or effort that I can dedicate to the cause, especially if its something to use temporarily.
That's what is great about Goodwill and like places...can just get temporary clothing to tide one over.

I have no idea what to wear anymore. I need a professional or my sister (she lives far away) to help me out. Wandered around a department store yesterday and was just overwhelmed. On a side note, I typically just shop at a Farm store and get boot cut jeans, cowboy boots and t-shirts are my typical summer fare around the farm and riding. So dressing better is a bit of a stretch for my brain
Sounds like you dress great. Just add a few tank tops to show off your muscles. If you lived here I would take you shopping.

My hubs just informed me this morning that I looked a bit "frail"...uh oh... 😳 Weight sits on me differently in my 60s than it did when I was younger and he thinks at 155 I'm starting to look a tad thin.
Seriously considering this autumn (after riding season) getting a gym membership and just making the drive ...I need more muscle!

Every week I sit in the wallyworld parking lot (I'm dw's chauffeur)
90% of all females entering are wearing black legging.
Is there "style" anymore?

Having been through multiple big weight swings in my life, I do tend to hang on to clothes that don't fit me in case this comes up. In fact, I have a bunch of stuff waiting for me when I hit my goal 😅... probably out of style at this point but it will be satisfying to have it fit again.

The only thing I would add is that stuff that fit you at a particular weight in the past may not look the same when you get there due to body comp changes. I have a lot more muscle in my chest & shoulders than I did last time I weighed 220 ... I may never fit in most off-the-rack men's large again even at my GW, even though that was one of my benchmarks in the beginning. Success may not look exactly like what we thought when we started.

After losing 40 lbs (not on GLPs) the 1st thing I did was binge shop on shein😂 It was a lot cheaper a few years ago so for $100 I would get 10 dresses (half of which I never even wore) - I was just so excited to be back to the size I was in my 20s. Don't even get me started about the endless skimpy bathing suits I got and haven't worn any😂

Serves me right for disdaining clothing-craze. I was just gifted a tshirt for an upcoming anniversary date I was trying hard to forget... can't stop women.

💯. Trying to stop us has the opposite effect...my significant other can attest😂

Still wearing 42 work slack's that look ridiculous. Just bought some 34 shorts that fit slightly snug. But yea, going to cry when I have to spend on work wardrobe.
