Dr. Froese discusses Reta: Good, Bad, Ugly

I'll never understand a PCP making videos on the internet about grey! I'm always tempted to look up their credentials.

Edit: Is this an LMNT ad? Good info either way.

She always states that she is NOT recommending you do this, but is well aware of what people in this world are up to - so it is a PSA more or less. The videos are peppered with I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO DO THIS cya verbiage. Anyhoooo, I am glad she explains the physiology behind what is happening. 🙂

Fair enough. I guess I always find a doctor doing this to be on shakey ground as far as their professional reputation; that being said, there are so many people using these nowadays it could even HELP their practice stay busy.

Good info either way. I was just commenting on her choice to have a youtube video about it.

Their general position (Froese, Tatem, Stillson) seems to be that the FDA is not doing peptides justice. Mysterious bams with no explanation, etc., possibly based more on BP lobbying. Based on what I've read and seen, I tend to agree.

I like her content, but she talks so fast that my brain can barely keep up. Maybe that says more about my brain than her though. She could have a side gig reading out loud the small print at the bottom of BP ads.

Great explanation of side effects, and how and what Reta is doing, interesting.

Surprisingly good content from Youtube. I've given up using that platform for serious medical stuff, just because of the amount of garbage. I do have some issues with her brandishing a vial on camera, or cuts of video of someone buying something that looks like the medication online.

Her practice must be busy. Her office is 30mins from my house and I tried to see her as my PCP and she was not taking new patients. So, they placed me on the waitlist 3 months ago. I think it would be beneficial to have a PCP that understands peptides. My current PCP doesn't know anything about peptides other than Ozempic and Zepbound.

Ironically, she's one of the few youtubers where I don't need to increase the playback speed to 1.25x as I'm the opposite and can't stand when people talk slowly and deliberately in videos. Her speed of delivery meets my brain right where it's at 🤣

Dr. Froese is pretty good. She say's in an early video that she knows people take these grey market peptides and wants to provide information from the perspective of a PCP. She has that disclaimer and says without saying she takes them as well. I think she is just doing a public service and TBH she is the reason that lead me to taking Reta. I stumbled upon her YT while looking for something else with back tightness which lead to r/reta (toxic and crazy cesspool) and r/peptide which thank goodness lead me here. My fears were assuaged here and I took the leap and yeah, good stuff!!
