Alright, first poke, 0.5mg. Within an hour felt a little bit of light euphoria feeling. Not sure if that was placebo or maybe stress related as it took me about an hour to work up the courage to stick the needle in.

I was thinking about hitting another .5mg in a few days if no bad reaction. I'd like to titrate up to at least 2mg as fast as my body can tolerate it.

40year old, 6'3" 360lb male. Very very built underneath from years of weight lifting, sports, farm, mountainbiking, hiking, etc out west. Have a ranch/farm, working animals virtually every day after my day job which is work from home in front of a computer. At 230lb I will have the outline of a six pack begin to show and a 33-34" waist. Excited to work back to that level of body fat.

Anywho! Wish me luck!

Hell yeah! Looking forward to the progress brother.

What made you want to go the microdose route?

just dont go over 1mg a week at least for the first month
access the side affect slowly

I just wanted to test my body’s reaction. Historically I have been very sensitive to pharmaceuticals and have had allergic anaphylactic shock from medication.

Just wanted a tiny poke to test the water. Full send as soon as reasonable.

probably adrenaline hitting that first time!
Good luck on your journey bro
You are most likely right but the feeling is still with me ~4 hours later. Poke was at about 10:45am central time, and now its almost 3pm.

At a late lunch at around 2pm and was hungry but seemingly not at the level I would normally be waiting to eat 2 hours past noon. Very curious how much is a head game / placebo vs. my historical ultra sensitivity to any/all medication.

adrenaline/euphoric feeling still lingering... maybe placebo, idk.

I have seen the .5mg test poke referenced in a number of places. Also have a family member playing with grey and he started at .5 for the first entire month with success... No problem poking again in a few days if there are no side effects to this first .5mg.

I do have a very slight very very minor headache that has come on. Just monitoring and keeping myself busy doing other things.

And drink some water. I started out at .5mg and felt like I was in a different dimension for a few days yet I didn’t find it unpleasant. I wouldn’t have wanted a stronger reaction right off if that would’ve happened on a larger dose however. Beauty of gray is we control the dose. I see no need to be in a hurry right off, been messing around getting fat for years so ann extra month or two to get it off isn’t an issue. For me

Well this is fascinating. I think I really actually might be one of the super responders to Reta like I mentioned earlier in this thread happens to me with most other pharmaceuticals.

Still feeling some of the euphoria feeling, headache gone.

I ate dinner and absolutely had some kind of appetite suppression. The other half made my favorite meal that she’ll make from scratch. I ate about 1/4-1/2 as much as I would usually eat of my first plate. Zero desire for second plate at all.

Now for the fascinating part…. Blood glucose. I have been monitoring with abbot ligo sensors and I almost always hit 120-140mg/dl after a meal. Tonight I peaked between 90-100, now roughly 3 hours after eating I’m rocking 58. I feel a little bit hungry now but not enough to eat something. Staying awake now another hour or two in case it dips much lower.

If you are not already defo get electrolytes into the routine, heachaches probably dehydration

Dont take NSAIDs..stick to Tylenol/Acetaminophen. Tramadol if you have it.

This is the way! If you have tramadol, this would be the time to use it. When I first started glp-1s I had a headache that just wouldn't go away. I suffered with it for days. Then it finally dawned on me to try something a little stronger. I took 4 tramadol the first day, a couple the next, and headache gone.

So last night I got spooked by that glucose drop so I ate a small portion and everything recovered.

This morning the headache is still gone, the euphoric feeling is gone, and I am hungry. I was able to sleep in until about 9:30 am which felt amazing. Sleep score is reporting a 95 which is in line with the last few weeks since starting daily supplements.

What was your starting weight and what’s your current titration schedule? How’s are you responding so far? I’m debating switching from Tirz soon.
for the current Reta use, I began on May 1st, and take a weekly shot. I began with 1mg, then moved to 1.5mg on the 7th, and did 4th shot on 21st at 1.5mg. I started at 255lbs. Today I am 242lbs.

Yesterday was awesome!

Still getting hungry, staying hungry doesn’t result in binge eating “hangry” feeling. Smaller portion is actually enough to feel full which is nothing like I’ve ever experienced before.

Alcohol consumption is heavily heavily impacted for me. Was able to drink two 12oz yuengling lagers over the course of 3-4hours. It still tastes amazing but my body/stomach wouldn’t let me drink it.

With no negative sides and the commentary that I didn’t take enough, I’m considering taking another .5mg today to get to at least 1mg for the rest of the week.

Good luck on your new journey! It appears we are very similar in age, height, weight and lifestyle so I will follow your journey closely. I know i have a good body underneath all this padding too 😂

I have some Reta on the way so hopefully will be taking my first jab in the next week or so, I'm not sure about starting on 1 or 2mg yet.

Best of luck 💪🏻

Yeah, sounds like you might be a "cheap date" and may not ever have to go up to 12mg, but play it by ear.

I've known a few people who, when taking (the inferior - ha!) semaglutide, have amazing suppression of food noise even at .25mg on that first dose only to find that was fleeting and they end up having to chase the dragon after that because the effect was just transient and wouldn't ever really be replicated at that low dose.

Okie doke, today at 1mg total this is exactly what I figured ret would be like. Near zero food noise, surprisingly no real negative side effects.

Got really busy today after breakfast around 930am. Didn’t realize I had missed lunch until coming back from the dog bathing place at 330pm. Grabbed some chicken tenders and potato wedges on the drive home, was near uncomfortably full after 2 tenders and 3 wedges.

I have read a lot of people feel terrible after fast food so I stayed away from a big greasy burger. 😂. Glad I did cause I’m sure I couldn’t have finished it.

This stuff is a flat out miracle. Oddly I just recorded my highest ever glucose since I’ve been monitoring. (About a month.). Went from 88 to 153, back down to 96 all within 1 hour. That’s the wildest peak swing I’ve ever noticed.

My wife and I haven't had fast food in 20 years. Since January, nothing processed/frozen all fresh and made at home. Only thing we eat at restaurants are chicken wings, not breaded and salads.

Most of my diet is home made, especially working from home and being 15+ minutes out in the country away from town. The town isn’t a big one either, less than 15k residents. Today though I did get those delicious chicken tendies and wedges, was just surprised how little I could eat.

Dinner was very similar, couldn’t finish my half serving. It had green beans, half a small steak, half a chicken breast, baby potatoes, and macaroni salad. Ate the green beans and most of the meat, couple baby potatoes and that was it. Tried to have a beer with dinner and couldn’t even finish half of it. Did drink 3 full glasses of water though.

So far I love this stuff!!!

Alright today was more interesting. Had a simple breakfast, two eggs, one piece of toast, maybe 10 grapes and was satisfied. Got hungry for lunch around noon, had one boneless skinless grilled chicken breast and some green beans. That was enough to be borderline sick full.

Come 5-5:15 I got a mad snack attack. Not starving but feeling that I must must must eat something. Downed a 60g protein shake, some peanut butter, and a string cheese to settle everything down. That’s really the first time that has happened to me since starting this stuff.

As far as work is concerned, no brain fog, no headache, no loss for words or memory issues. Still loving it!

Looking forward to slowly titrating up to 2mg sooner than later!
