Alabama Outlaws Peptides

I settled on five years as my comfort level. I use strictly Tirzepatide and am nearing my goal weight but I will use it until I die. I have TR-60 kits that I will replace as I go through each one. I have a manual freezer (non self defrosting) and figure based on the limited degradation mentioned by Janoshik those kits will work like new for at least that long.
Where can one learn best practices for storage?

When I started Retatrutide and joined GLP1forum I read about people going through waves of panic buying. I thought to myself wow, that's so silly, I wouldn't do that, something bigger and better could come along, gray has survived worse, blah, blah, blah.

I thought at the time that having 1 year of planned titration dosing for two people was plenty, arguably too much. Now I have 5 years of max dosage on hand. I see why people panic buy Tirzepatide and Retatrutide, I can't see myself living without it at some dose, and I can't predict the future, but I can control the situation now to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

My life has completely changed. I've lost over 50lbs. My blood work has never looked better. My food habits are reasonable, my autoimmune inflamatory illness and lab markers are significantly improved. My labs are so significantly improved that my providers had me wait a week and had me repeat them to confirm that there wasn't an error.

My primary and autoimmune specialists both said the same thing. "We ran the labs twice, we have no idea what specifically it is that you changed and are doing, but it's literally saving your life. Keep doing whatever it is that you are doing and let us know how we can help."

I haven't told any providers I'm taking gray market Chinese mystery peptides. I polled a loaded question to an anesthesiologist prior to a recent surgery and used it as a guideline for surgical prep. "We recommend patients using GLP1's to with-hold/refrain from at least 7 days (skip the injection prior) or 14 days if they can, however even if they didn't they would likely be fine if they fasted for a 12-16hrs." So I tapered down and took 14-days (16days) without and with-held food for 16hrs prior to surgery and had no issues.

I have since returned to my normal dosing. I have surpassed my initial weight loss goals and have a new lofty target that I'm already approaching within 20lbs. I've only been doing this since January.
This speaks to the prepper in me! I started tirz four months ago, and quickly accumulated 1.5 years' worth of compounded for my current dose, and then (if testing results are good) another year of reseller gray, but I've got "five years max dose" on my mind like an itch that won't go away!!

I did the same after a couple months using peps I realized I did not want to run out. Got about 5 years of Tirz, GHK-CU, bpc-157, and tb-500. Those are the main four we rely on. I have about two years of various others I cycle but cannot stop myself from grabbing those that I might want to try later. It's a vicious cycle

I’m so confused by this.

I thought that some peptides were able to be compounded, and therefore weren’t “research grade”.

Who is prescribing “research-grade”?
You see people post here on occasion. Their doctor or a med spa "prescribed" them gray market peps. It's always been against regulations this just makes it more clear with codified repercussions. Pointing someone in the right direction is one thing but writing someone a "prescription" and filling it with grey market peptides is a bad practice for medical doctors.

True, you proved you are very much in the running.

Forget politics

Complaining Americans are buying European stuff when right behind you is a poster to a European brand which your state assembles cars of that European brand... is pretty stupid. If YSL assembled purses or pants in "state x" and politicians from that state was complaining about European fashion... dumb.

On topic one state banned "research" peptides from being prescribed. The very smartest state.

Don't think that's how they're doing it, dr prescribes it and fda approved compounder fills it. Not grey market!

Not to sound like a butt, But no shit Sherlock. I've lost almost 120 pounds in 10 months, but this is supposedly a lifetime drug and it seems to lose its efficacy after years of use for a lot of people.

This is regardless of your diet changes. Im off of it right now for another surgery, my second in 4 months and im fucking hungry, and not for my usual whole food diet. Im starving for all the things that made me fat and regardless of the changes I've made those "bad food suggestions" are screaming like a bullhorn in my brain.
LOL! You must have tons of friends with a shit attitude like this. So how can it be a lifetime drug but lose its efficacy that math don't add up. I guess when the efficacy is all gone it won't be your fault. But you be you I won't bother you again.

Lifer for me, what dose has not been determined

I know it!!! New people are constantly in here testing me and i have enough on my plate. If the first contact I have with them is negative I just ignore thier ass, life is to short!!!

Well my comment to you was not Negative at all. You just decided to take it that way. FYI I have lost over 130lbs but only the last 30 were with GLP's so I might be new here I am not new to the struggle.

Tell me about, I just had to tell myself to stop. Trust me, I have a ton of this stuff and I enjoyed grabbing it from GB.

No that is not what's happening here. Legal compounders cannot legally compound non FDA approved medications

So how do I get out of that? It was literally my first post and haven't repeated at all. Can only do cryptic texts here now. So annoying.
Just keep commenting and browsing through the forum. I can't remember exactly when I got promoted, but it'll happen soon. Keep the faith man.

Actually here's what happend..

In May 2026, the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners issued an official notice stating that licensed healthcare providers in Alabama may not prescribe, recommend, administer, or dispense non-FDA-approved "research-grade" peptides to patients. This includes compounds commonly discussed in bodybuilding and longevity circles such as BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, and similar "research use only" products.
Alabama Medical Board +1
What Alabama did not do:
It did not make possession of research peptides by individuals a criminal offense.
It did not ban legitimate FDA-approved peptide medications.
It did not ban all peptide research.
