Hey yall! So I’m on week 3 on reta and my question is how long does a vial last once reconstituted in the fridge? I keep seeing people say 4-6 weeks. Others say until it’s done. I’m just really confused. My plan is to just use up my vial until it’s done unless I notice any cloudiness or weird stuff going on. I’ve also read that efficacy drops after the 28 day mark. I bought a 10mg vial for my first month, which I now realize was def too much and should’ve prob stuck with a 5mg for the first month but you live and you learn.
Also, for the bac water I’ve read similar things that it should be kept for only 28 days and then thrown out. I’ve also read a lot of people say they keep it in the fridge and others say they keep it room temp. Ive kept mine in the fridge since I got it and was thinking of just using up until done, I have 9ml left, which at the rate I’m going it’ll prob be used for a few months.

(Ik how to reconstitute and how to dose and all that, my main concern is storage because I see a lot of mixed answers everywhere and I trust the people here more. Just really want to do this the best way possible)

You are not going to get a straight, definitive answer. You are going to get opinions and anecdotes with some amount of factual backing. There just is not enough study and proof either way. I know this may not be helpful, or the answer you are looking for, but it's the truth.

Also, for the bac water, same thing, how long does it last for and should it be refrigerated or in room temp? I keep seeing mixed answers for this one too. Some say don’t keep it past 2 months, some say until they finish it, some people say refrigerate and some say keep it room temp.
If someone could please just give me a clear answer 😭 or at least guide me. I want to know if I need to purchase some new bac water and if I should discard the bac water I have after a certain amount of time. Thank you
Personally, for my first cycle of Reta I began with a 15mg vial reconstituted with 1.5mL of Hospira BAC water and it lasted me 2 months. I felt the vial was still effective and viable and as I was increasing my dosage I felt those changes. When I started a new vial the effect were similar to my previous dosage so that backed up my feeling that the Reta was still effective.
Now this really all depends on how you store it, dose it, and what you reconstitute it with.

Gray might not be the right place for you.
I’ve read a lot as a matter of fact, which is why I’m asking here myself on a forum with people that I would trust more than answers from people that think they know everything just by a quick lookup on Reddit. No need to be rude. Isn’t that the whole point about being on this forum too? To help out

Yea that’s honestly what I was planning on doing tbh. Just finish my vial unless there’s any cloudiness or any noticeable difference. Thank you!

Yea makes sense

You're going get a wide variety of answers. But for me personally 8 weeks is the max and have never had an issue. Im sure you can go longer but I never had a need to. The quantity i buy now last me 4 weeks so it makes it pretty easy.

🤔

I mean if you already know that "28 days" is the most popular answer from surveying Reddit, what are you hoping to get out of another round of surveying people here for their personal preferences? I'd think at this point the more productive path would have been to ask where the 28 days figure comes from, what are the reasons people arrive at that number, and whether those are good reasons or not.

It depends what you are comfortable with. Always make sure to clean well with alcohol & store in the fridge in a dark place, dont take it out for long, etc.

How many mg did you reconstitute? Did you divide that up in weeks by dose to get an idea how long it should last you?

Hi! I always wipe the vial with alcohol when I use. I reconstituted 10mg with 1ml of bac water. So for my first month I plan to do 1mg which will then leave me with 6mg and I’m planning on upping the dose to 1.5mg after the month mark which means It would’ve taken me 2 months to finish that vial since start date.
Only thing is I don’t keep my reta and bac in a dark place in the, is that bad?

You've got the right idea. Pretty safe to go past 28 days on reconstituted, just watch for any unwanted science experiments in the vials. As SuperTrips' chart shows, most peptides do fine for efficacy 60 days and even beyond.

RE BAC Water, it's just down to personal preference, and your own risk tolerance. The guidance for storing at room temp and discarding after 28 days seems to stem from FDA guidelines that don't even recommend this procedure; rather, they just default to this, "unless otherwise recommended" statement or something similar.

I'm using 90 day old reconstituted peptides, and 3 month old BAC water. Many of us are. You've just got to decide what's reasonable for you.

You said you've got it in the fridge. That's smart, and it's usually dark in there (I think!). Toss it in an opaque container, it'll be fine. Mostly just don't leave it on the counter in direct sunlight for half the day or something.

I use Hospira till it's gone and reconed 8 weeks easy. Guys just joining and not reading.

When the door is closed its dark in the fridge so as long as you have it in there you should be fine. I would put your vial in something else to keep it clean as well. I use a pen cart so Im not introducing any air each time, not drawing etc so I feel comfortable for longer

Once you go up (you will see how your body reacts) you might need a higher dose & it will be used up faster
