Show off your progress

Figured I’d start a thread for people to show off how far they’ve come. Of course if you’re not comfortable sharing pictures on here, feel free to just talk about your journey.

I’m 42 and started my dieting and exercise journey a little over a year ago. Down over 100lbs so far, from about 300 to 195, and have put on a decent amount of lean muscle thanks to Reta, Tesa, and Ipa. Went from over 45% bodyfat down to 16% and my visceral fat index went from 19 to 6. I’m not finished yet, but am pretty happy with my progress so far. My goal is a lean 225lbs at 12% BF
Looking like a jacked Jack Black. Good job 👏

Figured I’d make another update a few months later.down to around 12-13% bodyfat and continuing to slowly put on lean muscle. Since my last post I have switched from Tesa/Ipa to exogenous GH for the cost and ease of use. I also started TRT and took a short run of low dose Anavar that was prescribed to me.

Gym 6 days a week and have my diet about 90% locked in. I credit Reta and my other peptides with a lot of the progress I’ve made but it still takes a lot of work and effort. As someone who has been obese my entire life, I can’t believe I’ve made it this far. I also credit this community for all the info and camaraderie that helps keep me on track and focused on health. So thank you all!
Damn yo!

View attachment 27780View attachment 27781I’m down about 30 pounds from my highest. I dropped about 7-10 pounds on my own then added Tirz March 9 and dropped another 20–25. I weight train, run, and do yoga.
Heck yea Great work!

Honestly dude, you need to keep putting the "before" picture next to your current photo so people can truly appreciate how far you have come and what we're all capable of achieving when we stop letting barriers get in our way. What a fukn inspiration and I appreciate how open and honest this transformation this has been for you! Once I make a little more progress, I'll be able to contribute to this thread as well!

Down 65 lbs (1/4 of body weight) in 8 months. Maintained for 2 years since then. Lost all on tirz, now maintaining on tirz/reta. IMG_3286.webpPhoto is before and after passport photos.

I really appreciate the encouragement! It’s been a fun journey so far. I never thought I’d become a gym rat! I got pretty complacent being in the 30-40+ bodyfat percentage my whole life. But sometimes shitty life events have a silver lining and become a catalyst for the change that is needed. I look forward to seeing your progress so keep up the good work! Trying to get myself together for work today and found this sized 56L men's suit jacket.

Can't believe I filled this out. I was HUGE.

I'm in size 42L now, so clearly I didn't wear this to work today. Wearing sized 36-38 pants and couldn't find any of those either. Could be worse problems in the world 🙃.

Thread hijack. Did you ever get that Renpho scale?

Yes, and it’s great! Thank you for the suggestion. I’m not sure that I always agree with the amount shown, but it consistently records the same exact weight. 🤣

Last weekend. Felt watery, body dysmorphia is real, but at least I know it and keep in check.

I think I need a long weekend in Oregon to push some weights /w Tbagger.
