If these pens are like what I used to get for GLP1s, it was a button that you pressed and the needle would... shoot out and inject. So, I would not feel the needle until the button was pressed. That would not allow me to soft press to feel if it was hitting a nerve. Using just the needle allows me to feel for nerves first. If the pens have the needle protruding to find nerves first, than they are different from the ones I received back when my insurance covered GLP direct.I may not be understanding your post. Why wouldnt you be able to do that with pens? Mine let me find a good spot just like insulin needles do.
