Im torn. I've done 2 mg weekly for 4 weeks and im considering splitting doses moving forward when hitting 4 mg.

Benefits of a weekly dose vs splitting dose every 3.5 days??

Help a gal out please!

It’s been discussed at length, repeatedly and again.

I’m 2x/week for GLPs. Today marks day 200 of taking GLP, down 70lb, ~25% body fat (DEXA), ~30lb to go, cutting the remaining fat in ~half.

Like sheila I switched from once a week to twice a week when the sides started fucking me up too badly to continue. I'd rather have stayed at once a week but it was either quit or find another way.

I don’t know if there’s a best way to do it, or if it’s different for Reta, but I lost all my 100 lbs with once a week Tirz (6 mg for most of it). I would have split it if I had bad sides, but I never once experienced bad enough sides to split dose. I feel like once a week also works well for me with using the zig zag method for calories - I will have strong suppression for the first half of the week when I want to eat less, and waning suppression the second half.

I split dose once I started to titrate up. I did it because it always seemed like day 5-6 my appetite suppression would come back , so in theory it would spread my dose out through the week to combat that and also help me dodge any unforeseen possible side affects. It worked great for me for those purposes. I also used the split dosing to titrate down when the time came . I would shave some of my dosage off one of the days I split to slowly bring myself down without having appetite come flooding back at once. Also you can up dose 2 one day and 1 another day and see how that plays out for you. You may not need to jump straight to four if three fancies you.

Thank you for your explanation.

For sure. Took me a little experimenting and learning along the way my dang self. Also I edited and added at the end of that last comment. Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to weight loss. It’s nice to lose it fast but I’ve also seen people at high doses super early in the journey. They lose it fast but gain it fast when coming back down or off it and have to stay at higher maintenance doses to get by. Seems costly to me and I think the end game goal should be get to where you wanna get to then fly on your own if that makes sense. Focus on your diet and building healthy habits that will stick and become instinct at some point. Listen to your body when titrating up.

Thank you again. This definitely helps me decide how I want to tackle things... splitting may be the way!

In my case I found that twice per week works well. But I'm using Reta to help suppress autoimmune flare ups. Waiting too long has consequences and the inflammation cranks right up. As far as weight loss rate, roughly 2 pounds per week regardless of dose schedule. I even tried every 6 days for a while.

Both lol. Currently I am cutting while trying to keep as much muscle mass as possible. I'm using 8mg weekly of Reta, and 5mg biweekly (for a total of 10mg weekly) of Tirz.

I love Reta, it sheds fat like butter, but I swear the hunger suppression is basically none for me. Tirz on the other hand makes it so I can live off potato, chicken, veggies, protein bars and protein shakes.

With that stack I've lost 3 pounds per week. I could lose more, and sometimes I gotta forcefully eat a late-night protein bar with a shake. But again, I'm trying to keep most of my muscle mass.

how much have you lost? That's 18mg a week of glp's sounds about the heaviest dosing I have heard
