And I’m kicking myself that I only saw this post weeks later! Looks like they still have other thermos tray options with 3 trays though…might be worth a go.

Anyone know of 3d printed vial inserts that fit inside the 4 small containers without losing too much storage? Would be bigger than the Hydropeaks OD

I found some on aliexpress, make sure you get the 2.6l. There are two options, just the thermos is $25 the other option includes a bag and utensils for $32 (no need for those in this instance)

I found a food thermos on temu, it has 4 equal size containers in it. The containers are the perfect height for 3ml vials (just leave out the stainless liner bowl) and each container has a water tight gasketed lid. I found that 37 vials fit perfectly with no movement. That gives a total of 148 vials that can be stored. I filled one tray and almost a second, I stuffed a paper towel in there to fill the void as I wait for my next delivery. The thermos itself is stainless double walled with leakproof lid. It was $20 and it's pretty heavy made. It came with a shoulder strap but don’t really need that for freezer storage. Anyway, just wanted to share with you guys.

Correct. If you use the containers, you lose a fair amount of space and can't hold as many vials, so their design ditches the containers to max out storage.
