Hello, all. I’ve been on tirz since mid March and have lost 55 lbs. I’ve been on 12.5 mg since August. Weight loss is sporadic and food noise is increasing, so I want to try mazdutide.

There isn’t much to read about mazdutide. I’ve read the basic studies and a few researchers’ positive reactions to using it. That’s about all I can find. So, I designed my own protocol. I’m going to start by stacking 1 mg of maz on top of the 12.5 tirz. If that does not have any negative side effects, I will slowly increase the maz as I lower the tirz. I will report back on this thread with any notable developments.

If you have taken maz and have any experience to share, I would love to hear it.

I just wrote something about this on someone else’s post. Yours sounds like a good plan. Watch out for mild nausea at first, but it subsides, controls food noise very well, increases energy, and breaks stalls, unfortunately it raised my resting heart rate so I discontinued. Amy nurse on Peppys is also doing research you can follow along with.

Hiya, if you are on Peppy's site, look up "Mazdutide:Week by Week". I've been chronicalling my research with maz and tirz there.
So far, I've been able to stop cagri research, as maz and tirz alone are handling any food noise that could possibly crop up. I'm very pleased with the combo of 3mg maz and 7.5mg tirz.
In the beginning, it takes the maz a week or 2 to "kick in". But once it does, it's a full week of suppression with each dose. Of course, ymmv.
Best of luck!!

I have been supplementing with cagri mid week. I hope to drop that if this is effective.

Hi @amynurse. Interested in reading your mazdutide posts on peppy's but I can't find them. Could you please help? Joined today, did a search for the specific topic, and still no luck. You can PM me if need be. Interested in learning more about this peptide.

It might be that you are still too new to search? If you look under the Incretin Memetics category, it's in there.

Hey there! Im glad there will be more experimenting with Maz here to share. Have you tried Reta yet?

I have been on Tirz since Sept (5mg per week) and recently reduced it to 2mg/ week and added Reta 1mg twice per week. I ordered some Maz yesterday to compare with both.

Here is a helpful chart posted on the Peppy’s forum that shows a relative measure of their receptor agonist activity. I’m very interested to see how Maz affects digestion, energy, and appetite.

I tried Reta in the same way but abandoned it after 3 weeks because I needed more appetite suppression. I switched to a mid-week cagri bump instead. I may try Reta again in maintenance.

Been on Tirz for 4-5 months, currently 12.5mg. Around 10mg I added 2mg, then 4mg Maz with little effect. Dumped that and added Reta. I do feel that I have more energy now and the last bit of weight I need to lose is just falling off.

Maz did help with fatigue though. Maybe I just didn't give it enough of a chance.

I can’t find it. But I shouldn’t be surprised. This new site has been an obstacle for me, so then I hardly browse it.
Had to keep clicking on links on the website for an unreasonable amount of time yesterday. Finally found it under latest posts (incretin mimetics section).

Did you notice any lethargy or energy difference when adding in Cagri? I honestly had no complaints with solo Tirz, other than tiredness. Thus, the current Reta and upcoming Maz research.

Yes. I had fatigue the day after the cagri bump. I started taking LipoC that day to compensate. Otherwise, no other side effects with low dose cagri. Good suppression, though.

First quick update: despite taking my usual 12.5 of tirz stacked with the low dose of maz, I had fewer side effects than usual. Tirz had predictably given me day 2 and 3 belching and reflux with very slow motility. This week, I only got mild belching and reflux on day 4, with only good suppression on days 2 and 3. Nice!

I was on tirz for 3 months.
lost about 40lbs. I noticed no info, and no nothing regarding mazdutide.
wife wanted something different cause something in tirz or reta making her thyroid act up.
she says the mazdutide works.
I wanted to give it a shot.

started slow.
1.5mg one day. (didnt feel anything)
1.5mg next day (still didnt feel anything)

said fck it ill add some reta since i had a little left in a vial.
i think it was approx 2mg of reta.
(did 2 rounds of this mix, and tried to repeat the same injection schedule, exact same experiences)

Damn. it was pretty interesting.
Noticed I would be able to eat meals and not stop after a few bites
was not hungry nor did i crave or have much food noise.
no constipation. no nausea, no vomiting.
only real issue i experienced was EXTREME SENSITIVITY to lactose. (im mildly lactose intolerant)
it would be almost instant my stomach would churn and cramp when eating a mild amount of lactose (milk/cheese)
didnt eat much, but when i did eat i would be able to actually finish majority of the meal, as before when i was on 7.5 tirz. i would eat 2, 3 bites. and done.

I have 2 lots of mazdutide 10mg (both yellow top)

not on any peptide, only cjc/ipa, bpc157.
no issue with lactose.
hunger is back to normal as it was before.
I liked the eating part and keeping food cravings/noise down.
not sure if the lactose issue was the cause of this mixture.
maybe ill test with reta alone, and maybe ill give maz a go by itself.

Something to consider: both maz and reta are known for taking a few weeks to "kick in", unlike tirz and sema, which both tend to give feels within 24 hours of dosing. In my RS experience, it took 2 full weeks of maz before suppression was noticed. But once that happened, it was consistent from then on. Have never tried reta, but have heard it's the same situation.
If your RS is looking for instant suppression while waiting for maz/reta to kick in, cagri might be an option. Just my 2 pennies.

Second week update: went down a bit on tirz and up to 1.5mg maz. The lack of side effects was even more pronounced this week. I didn’t get the intense reflux the first few days; however, as a result, I’ve been eating a bit more. My appetite is low during the day but I get really snacky at night. I have not lost weight at all, which I put down to the extra calories. I went ahead and did my midweek cagri boost (.3) to help control my appetite. It doesn’t help that I’m sleep deprived and really cold. The combination makes me just want to eat and hibernate.

ONE MONTH UPDATE: I am going to increase to 2mg maz this week and lower tirz to 10mg. My weight loss has really smoothed out with the maz. My weight graph was incredibly erratic in Nov and Dec, with big swings up and down. Now, it’s a nice, slow downward progression. I also have not had hardly any incidents of reflux or awful belching. The constipation has not been an issue either. The only thing I don’t like is I get hunger and cravings roaring back on days 5-7. I’m still relying on my cagri bump for those days. I don’t mind having one day of “free eating” a week, but not three!

It’s early days still, but things are going well with maz.

UPDATE: So tired and food is unappealing.

This week I stayed at 2 mg maz for the second week, and also remained at 10mg tirz. The new vials I have from Uther seem strong, and I have had little to no interest in food since shot day, Saturday. It kicked in after only 12 hours. I force myself to down a Fairlife core smoothie with my coffee in the morning. Then around midafternoon I get hungry, but only manage a sandwich. Today I got an egg and cheese to get in some calories, then intentionally ate over my carb limit to see if I could get an energy boost. Last night I had a banana for dinner. If my previous pattern follows, I should get my appetite back tomorrow. I am going to skip the cagri bump this week because of the fatigue. The Bioboost is not boosting this week. You couldn’t pay me to get on my elliptical.

The scale is showing movement again after two slow months. I am pretty stoked to now be below my lowest weight on keto. This is where I stalled and never recovered. The thought of actually, REALLY losing this last 40 pounds is exciting. The other real benefit to the maz is the lack of intestinal side effects. My usual tirz issues are just so much more manageable now.

The research continues!

Just checking in to see how the Mazdutide is working for you. I'm considering it.

maybe ill give maz another go, i havent really thought about it, but i have it sitting in my freezer. might as well give it another jab. i dont really have much more to lose, but i am trying to lean out more. ill update if/when i inject. ill go straight to 2mg. lol
