The colloquial use of cartoons heavily implies animation and should be even more readily apparent in context.

When someone talks about enjoying their saturday morning cartoons, they're not pulling out the newspaper and reading the funnies.

But to the same effect, anime is colloquially used to mean both anime and manga by a lot of people 😛

(Saturday morning cartoons are also a specific thing, but I have known older generations refer to newpaper comics as cartoons plenty of times.)

comics and cartoons are hierarchically inclusive terms

I just got my hands on a couple savvio after breaking a few Chinese pens with trt. Very nice. I'm also trying to figure out a way to adapt the novo pen.

Because you decided to be pedantic about my use of cartoons to mean western animation when someone said they didn't know the difference between anime and manga.

"I don't know why we're talking about something" doesn't work well when you're the person that spawned the thread of conversation being followed.

Now it's gone for me too. It was there and I tried clicking the channels, all of them said private. Came back here to see if the links their mod posted in my thread work, they still do. Went back, it's gone.

Subreddit says it was nuked, they're aware, and they're working on it and that their discord still works. I should join that, I left when I joined the telegram.

I hope they had good backups. There was a ton of information on their TG site, testing data, vendor data, help videos. It's a pretty big loss for the new-to-gray community.
 
Surprised it wasn’t nuked earlier, people reporting people to tg for not being politically correct 🤣 one can only lower the bar so much before it becomes dangerous, even with the noble goal of harm reduction
 
Tirzhelp was begging to get nuked. Way too many users and way too open of a discussion. The only safe internet spaces to really talk about this stuff are the ones with private hosting. Anything relying on a social media platform is on borrowed time.

There's so many things now I don't even know what's what. I just know I've signed up for as many things as I can. Finally joined one I've been putting off for a while and I can't make the tutorial work so I'm stuck 🥲

Telegram used to be safer, until it's owner was arrested and indicted and agreed to start sharing user information with the authorities, and to be cooperative.
