From reading, BAC has a shelf life of 28 days once opened. Opened. The smallest I'm finding is 10 mL of BAC, I only need about 1-2 mL of it per month.
It would not make sense to buy one at a time. The one I have in stock now has exp date of May 31 2026.. so it can last that long unopened... You can definitely buy some (more than one) even if you were to throw it out after a month (I wouldn't and I don't)... My personal opinion is that 5-6 bottles should last you a year.. and you can get that in one shot no problem..From reading, BAC has a shelf life of 28 days once opened. Opened. Pretty much this. I go through them faster than 60-90 days, but I'm also currently injecting reta, ss-31, mots-c, tb-500, and bpc-157I bought a 25 vial package of Hospira BAC water. I plan on using each vial for 60-90 day periods, then discarding them.
At $3-8 for a 3ml bottle, do you really want to risk keeping them long term? I use them once and toss them. Reconstitute as much as you feel safe storing and leave it at that imo. From reading, BAC has a shelf life of 28 days once opened. Opened. Where are you seeing 3ml bottles, the smalest I'm seeing is 10ml from AmazonAt $3-8 for a 3ml bottle, do you really want to risk keeping them long term? I use them once and toss them. Reconstitute as much as you feel safe storing and leave it at that imo.
was a typo, a 30mil bottle is $3-8 dollars, any more than that find a new sellerWhere are you seeing 3ml bottles, the smalest I'm seeing is 10ml from Amazon
Thanks, that makes sense in terms of volume. However I bought 30ml just now from Amazon for about 11 bucks. Where are you guys getting it cheaper.was a typo, a 30mil bottle is $3-8 dollars, any more than that find a new seller
You buy a case from medex. add some needles for free shippingsThanks, that makes sense in terms of volume. However I bought 30ml just now from Amazon for about 11 bucks. Where are you guys getting it cheaper.
amsco sells individual Hospira vials for $3, idk what the shipping cost is.Thanks, that makes sense in terms of volume. However I bought 30ml just now from Amazon for about 11 bucks. Where are you guys getting it cheaper.
$3.00 is cheap! do they actualy split up the 25 pk and ship individuals?amsco sells individual Hospira vials for $3, idk what the shipping cost is.
I would not buy from amazon.
yes$3.00 is cheap! do they actualy split up the 25 pk and ship individuals?
I don't. Its all comparatively cheap, why play games with it?seems like most everyone will use a reconstituted vial of peps for 3+ months, why would we be super diligent about the bac water bud?
It’s not games to me bc I’m the only one using it. If I were in a clinical setting, multiple pokes & patients (maybe even if just one other soul), totally, but just little ol me? NahI don't. Its all comparatively cheap, why play games with it?
Seems like an issue is unlikely to kill me, if I get some sort of reaction or infection I can just throw everything away and start overIt’s not games to me bc I’m the only one using it. seems like all of this is kinda playing games. ordering a powder from China and shooting up.I don't. Its all comparatively cheap, why play games with it?
Do you reconstitute every 5 days?I've got 20ml bottles, I take 0.5ml shots every 5 days (x 2 as I'm sharing with the wife) and I'm not throwing any of it away. I clean the lid and the new dispensing needle with an alcohol wipe on every use too.
You are right, we are all playing the game. Some like to play carefully, some go in charging.seems like all of this is kinda playing games. ordering a powder from China and shooting up.
Do you reconstitute every 5 days?
If it fits your personal risk tolerance then that is all that matters. At $3 a bottle, and the fact I dont reconstitute often, it makes sense for me to just open another one.I do at the minute because I'm just finishing my (bought a while ago) T15 supply and we're on 7.5mg per 5 days each. But I'll be onto the T30 soon and I'm moving to cartridge pens at that point, so will be filling 2ml for 30mg to last 20 days (x 2 pens for the pair of us)
I'm almost at maintenance weight too, so I might go 5 x 6mg / 0.6ml doses to fill the full 3ml of the pens at some stage, while I'm just trying to maintain.
I do recongise that the Bac water shouldn't be kept for that long when following official guidance, but it feels within my personal risk tolerance since I'm fairly careful around cleaning and storing the equipment.
yep, but by all means you better make sure your bac water is not expired. that's definitely the real risk factor smhseems like all of this is kinda playing games. ordering a powder from China and shooting up.
just get some distilled water and add a bit of rubbing alcohol 🙂I'm living on a Mediterranean island and don't have access to the Hospira deals you guys get too so I end up paying $15 for postage alone for a couple of bottles from Amazon, have to wait 2 weeks for delivery, then have to have someone home to sign for it etc. Pain in the ass, more so than the cost.
I could probably try find a local pharmacy to try buy it direct but I'm scared that the locals will wonder what I'm up to. People talk around these parts.
i'm not an expert so don't listen to me. but for what it's worth, my understanding is that the potential issue with bac water is that the benzyl alcohol part that is the actual sterilizing agent might evaporate over time through the puncture hole in the cap. and refrigerating it might actually accelerate this process. that's why bac is supposed to be stored at room temp.My current vial of BAC is just shy a week of 90 days opened. I store it in the fridge with my reconstituted peps. I am reconstituting 2 more vials with it this week and then will toss it as it is mostly used up.
No issues so far. If I had money to blow i'd love to do some testing to see the stability and contamination of a vial of BAC as it gets used over a certain period of time. I suspect the 28 day limit is just a default industry CYA value same as any other "use by" date.
I'll let yall know if I die and you can come clown on me at my funeral for dying over $3 of crusty old BAC water.
It's I highly doubt that it's evaporating through the puncture hole, it's self-sealing rubber and there's quite a bit of BAC in there (.9%). My last vial of T tea was near the end and I removed the metal cap to get the last bit using a needle, before I threw the vial away I was curious and did smell the alcohol smell in the vial, I would say my vile was probably about 3 months old.i'm not an expert so don't listen to me. but for what it's worth, my understanding is that the potential issue with bac water is that the benzyl alcohol part that is the actual sterilizing agent might evaporate over time through the puncture hole in the cap. and refrigerating it might actually accelerate this process. that's why bac is supposed to be stored at room temp.
i use my bac for far too long per guidelines but i'm not worried. seems like stuff evaporating through a tiny puncture hole is less risky than putting chinese powder in your belly.
I still think we should be adding everclear. Benzyl alcohol does NOT act as a sterilizing agent in bac water. Bac water does NOT sterilize what you mix with it. It simply slows the growth of bacteria and fungi in what you mix it with. This is why many people recommend filtering the magic chinese peptides when you reconstitute, as an attempt to sterilize them.i'm not an expert so don't listen to me. but for what it's worth, my understanding is that the potential issue with bac water is that the benzyl alcohol part that is the actual sterilizing agent might evaporate over time through the puncture hole in the cap. and refrigerating it might actually accelerate this process. that's why bac is supposed to be stored at room temp.

Hospira is made/owned by Pfizer. I cant speak with authority on the sodium-based BACs, I suspect they have a similar function but different use case than alcohol based. Are Pfizer and Hospira pretty much the same? Should you avoid the ones that have sodium in it?
Thanks. I didnt notice the Pfizer ones are the Hospira because the text that says Hospira is small on the vial photo on the product page I was looking atHospira is made/owned by Pfizer. sodium bicarb water is for a different purpose. Definitely don't use it with glp1s as it doesn't react well. Are Pfizer and Hospira pretty much the same? Should you avoid the ones that have sodium in it?
I *think* they mean the 2 types of Bacteriostatic water: Bacteriostatic water with the pink top that uses alcohol and Bacteriostatic sodium chloride water with the green top that uses NaCl & alcohol as the agents. Pfizer makes both versions.sodium bicarb water is for a different purpose. Definitely don't use it with glp1s as it doesn't react well.
Looks like you have some over extrusion going on with your 3d printer.A lot of vendors will sell 3ml vials of BAC in kits. Many people stick their nose up at this option. My vendor includes a kit of yellow cap vials with each peptide order as a freebie. I love them. They’ve been tested by Jano and the results have been great. I routinely buy kit’s of these little vials from others who refuse to use them. I usually pay $5/kit plus shipping. Unfortunately sellers are starting to wise up. I paid $10 per kit today for 6 kits.

I did not print that but I do have similar issues. Can you advise how to fix?Looks like you have some over extrusion going on with your 3d printer.
Calibrate your extrusion multipliyer (aka flow rate). Without knowing your printer, slicer, and printer firmware, that is about all i can provideI did not print that but I do have similar issues. Can you advise how to fix?
Banbu A1. I supposedly calibrate before each print. Seems to take forever to go through its little routine. Firmware is current. And the print plate is intermittently cleaned with dish soap and cleaned every time with isopropyl alcohol.Calibrate your extrusion multipliyer (aka flow rate). I'm not familiar with those printers, but I guarantee you that the flow rate is not calibrated before each print. You will have to find someone familiar with that printer type.Banbu A1. Yes. This exactly! Both NaCl and NaHCO₃ (sodium bicarbonate/baking soda) are salts but I am assuming the bac water with sodium has NaCl. But either way , bottom line is that we don't order either for use with GLPs. We order the one with only benzyl alcohol.I *think* they mean the 2 types of Bacteriostatic water: Bacteriostatic water with the pink top that uses alcohol and Bacteriostatic sodium chloride water with the green top that uses NaCl & alcohol as the agents. I could be wrong 😑 lol
I’ve used the NaCl with no problem, just happen to buy it by mistake when I first started. People use the big bottle of bicarbonate to change the ph of peps, mostly NAD+ if it’s not “buffered.” (Idk what all they use to buffer it.)Yes. This exactly! I've been using Bac Water from XCE back before they disappeared and have had zero issues. Will happily re-up with QSC when I need more.A lot of vendors will sell 3ml vials of BAC in kits. Benzyl alcohol will not evaporate. It evaporates much slower than water. Water will be gone long before BA evaporates.i'm not an expert so don't listen to me. but for what it's worth, my understanding is that the potential issue with bac water is that the benzyl alcohol part that is the actual sterilizing agent might evaporate over time through the puncture hole in the cap. and refrigerating it might actually accelerate this process. that's why bac is supposed to be stored at room temp.

I still think we should be adding everclear. Just to be on the safe side.
Hi👋. May I ask, what is everclear?I still think we should be adding everclear. Just to be on the safe side.
Yes same. The one with sodium is called isotonic and is very close to blood salt level. Less of a shock to the system. And the mannitol filler in your Tirz, is like sugar, so your injection mix is close to an IV drip. And the sodium version also has benzyl 0.9%. I was buying 3ml bac vial on Amazon from Stat Lab 10 x 3 ml for $30 to reduce waste, and was planning to begin filtering them. What a pain, time, risk and $$. I used the unfiltered Stat Lab for up to 9 weeks before my first ISR. I decided that Hospira NaCL at $3-4 per vial is a good bet to use the same bac vial for 45+ days without filtering, until my next ISR.... Am not an RN, and understand filtering is probably a better choice. Are Pfizer and Hospira pretty much the same? Should you avoid the ones that have sodium in it?
That was 100% a joke. It's basically pure ethanol- as in, liquor. Do NOT do it.E
