How do I use a freaking injection pen

Hi there. I am so intimidated by a peptide injection pen. Lol Since Tirz is measured by 2.5, how does it work? It goes to 60 but there are no .5’s.

Can anyone help walk me through this? I feel so dumb. Lol

Sorry but you are not ready for a pen. Please take some time to search and read before using it. There are videos and lots of posts on this topic. If you get it wrong, you can have a very bad week and there is nothing you can do once the shot is done.

I tried searching and it didn’t pull anything up. Maybe the advanced search will work. I am great with a regular syringe but I may give this thing away. Lol

Example: 5mg vial, you add 1ml bac water and you want a 2.5mg dose. It would draw 50 units on your syringe which is the same on the pens. You would dial it to 50.

Have you reconstituted lyophilized Tirz yourself, and done the math to figure out how? Your question indicates that you haven't... and it's a needed fundamental step before switching to a pen.

Do that step, use the syringe for another month, and the answer will be obvious to you.

OMG! I am so dumb. That is exactly what I do, on my regular syringe. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I completely had a brain fart! Thank you.

Pep Pen aka insulin pen peptide pen information

I don't think I have found all of the information in one place on using peptide pens aka insulin pens. I thought it might be useful for someone out there to have this.

Using an insulin cartridge pen you first need to fill the cartridge with your peptide. That then is inserted into the pen itself. After you load the cartridge, for each injection you will need to add a needle to the end. You then use the dial on the side of the pen to select how many units you want to give. When you are ready to give the injection you push the part of the pen where you dialed your dose.

You can go to You tube and watch videos. I have ordered pens had no problem with refilling the pen that came with the glass

Go to YouTube and watch videos. My problem is I was sent two different types of pens, the pen with the glass chamber is easy to set up. The other I’m still struggling to figure out.
