Hi! I'm very happy to be on this forum. I've been reading and researching extensively, and I have wanted to do GLP-1's for a long time, but I only recently became aware that it is actually affordable to me through the grey market. I injected my first dose of 2.5 of tirz on 4/4/25, and there have been no real problems so far! I've been a bit overwhelmed reading since I had no idea any GLP1s existed besides Tirz, Sema, and whatever Saxenda is, so I've been curious about if any of them are potentially worth looking into. So here are my (probably newbie-ish) questions for the people who have more experience than I do:

- After I spend a few more months on tirz, what would be your most recommend stack with it? Sema, Cargi and maybe Reta are the ones I'm considering. My main concern is the tirz wearing off and losing its effectiveness when I dose up, and thus stalling my weight loss. My dad has been on ozempic, and while he lost 100 lbs with it, he is now at the max dose and has effectively stalled around 320 lbs, which is something I don't want to happen to me (my SW is 270 for reference). Should I just hold off? I wanted to go ahead and get some of another compound if I plan on using it since the De Minimus from China to the US is planned to end.

-Do you recommend doing 5 day injection cycles instead of weekly for tirz? If so, when should I start doing it?

-With grey market tirz (I got 2 kits of T30 from SSA), how long do you usually stretch out your reconsisuted peptide in the fridge? I was planning on doing two months, three months max, but if anyone has experience in loss of potency in that time frame, let me know. I know the official recommendation is 28 days, but considering some compounding pharmacies are giving patients vials they are meant to use for 90 days, I'm willing to go past the recommended advice as long as the drug continues working.

Thank you so much in advance, and thank you to everyone who has posted informative information here! It is much easier to search and read on this site vs telegram, lol

I would be curious how long the stall is, it might be just that, a stall. I would also be curious how long he has been dosing.

I would definitely take the journey slow- focus on the Tirz combined with diet and some exercise and read a bunch before jumping into stacks. You may find that you do not need them until your final push, if at all.

There are mixed reviews on stacking GLP-1s. Some do fine with it or even well, some avoid it. I have not known any new users that started that way, but I am sure it has happened. Some users have negatively impacted their loss do to taking the wrong peptides, not glp-1s
As for stocking up-
The general consensus is, like all drugs that are being brought in, it may slow down but will not stop, and will likely continue to be more affordable through competition.

Some believe the value in the 7 day to allow for peaks and valleys, some insist on benefit of 4-5 days, or even less. Be sure to plot it if you go that route, due to half life it is not equal to what some believe. IE splitting a 5mg into two 2.5mg doses per week will actually raise your peak concentration. use a plotter to see. I have never changed from EL 7 day program

The recommended amount is 28 days, with proper preparation and storage (alcohol before and after, refrigerate, etc.) some go much longer easily 2-3months- your health, your call.

I agree, i prefer this to telegram.

As the big bull said to the little bull:
Do not run down the hill and make love to a cow, walk down and make love to them all.
Take your time, don't rush to stack, Let the Tirz help, but help it by doing some of the work.
This will get you where you want to go.

Thank you so much for the advice. I will stick to using Tirz for now and focus on changing my daily habits to be much healthier. I recently moved and it has made it much easier for me to get physical activity in, so I have been regularly walking a mile a day when I used to get pretty much no exercise. I am also hydrating a ton (mostly out of fear of constipation haha) and eating overall healthier meals with almost no binging on sweets or other leftovers like I was doing previously. I will probably stick to the 7-day dosing schedule, but if I do raise my dosage and reach a stall, I may experiment with split dosage or a 4/5 day schedule.

Regarding my dad, I think he's been at at the same weight for 4-5 months, when he first started Ozempic he had very good appetite control, and while he does like some foods significantly less than he did before, its not really the unhealthy foods he likes less, and I think he does not follow a great diet due to the stress of his work making him not have consideration for the healthiness of his diet. I moved away from him so its hard for me to give him exact advice or help make healthier diet changes with him (I could have done much better with cooking when I was with him, but hindsight), but I do wonder if switching to Mounjaro if our insurance would cover it would help him get out of the stall (he may have coverage because he has diabetes in his record, I don't and they don't cover obesity so that's why I had to go grey)

My internist's "cheat" for tirz with himself and his many tirz patients: Just raise the dose of tirz on a weekly rather than 4-week (monthly) basis. Most of his patients are on 10+ mg.

So on week four, I got to 10 mg of tirz. I am on week five now, staying at 10.

Of course, strength training should help prevent muscle loss, and I also take creatine while staying hydrated. I used to eat a lot of carbs as a vegetarian, but I am eating more protein now.
