I have been silently researching and checking out the vibe before I decided to join. I'm an introvert by nature, so less is definitely more until I feel comfortable conversing. I am looking forward to the journey, and I hope to find some fellow Mississippians-as well as other states-to connect with along the way. I started on compounded Sema back in 2024, and was only on it for 2 months before it was banned from being compounded in our state. I had great success that was short lived. This second time around, April was my first month starting the compounded Sema from an out-of-state pharmacy only to realize that it probably won't be accessible any longer this way either. I'm searching for other alternatives, and although the peps are a little intimidating, I'm willing to try. Any help along my journey is welcomed. It's very nice to meet you all!

I'm from Nj☺️. Nice to have you here! It's a lot of reading, but I'm sure that you'll learn a lot on this forum. I know I did and learn something new every day. Everyone is helpful here. Just read up as much as you can and ask questions. It isn't hard once you get started. Good luck on your journey!

Thank you! I was definitely intimidated, lol, but I find the plethora of knowledge and information fascinating. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can😊

There is a ton of information in this forum available to you. I suggest starting with learning about reconstitution and the math for dosing. We're happy to help check your work once you do a little reading. Then just keep reading threads for vendors that people tend to talk about with the things that important to you in mind. (payment type, shipping location, testing, etc..)

Good for you for putting yourself out there, and it looks like you are on the right path. It is good you found your way here, stick around and pitch in on the conversation.
An Introvert is just a butterfly busting the way out of a chrysalis.

Thank you! I hope to be as educated and knowledgeable about this as you all are, and to be to be able to share my journey with you all. Thanks for such a welcoming platform.

Do you have a discord or telegram account? These apps will make it easier for you to engage the vendors directly and also participate in group buys and testing.
I have downloaded the discord app. I had never heard of it before until Tiktok. I still have not quite gotten it figured out, but once I settle on a vendor it should be simple enough...🤞🏾hopefully 😀

Will do. I think the reconstitution part is the most intimidating out of the whole process. I've been looking into it, and I saw a method that is similar to what I was prescribed. I will definitely check with you experts(respectfully❤️)before I try it. Thanks so much!

I like having different mg vials so they don't last so long. When I was at low dose I did 15s or 30mg of tirz vials so they would only be 3-6 doses. 3x 5mg in the 15, 6x 5mg in the 30.

Once I figured the number of doses i wanted then i just figured out how big of a shot i wanted.

Filling the syringe to the top is a lot..and can be uncomfortable, I prefer filling to the number 20 or 40 on the side of a syringe that goes to 100.

This makes the math so simple:
If I want 3 doses of 5mg from a 15mg vial i just fill it with 3x the dose size i want using BAC, I have only ever used Hospira BAC.
so if I filled with the number 60 on the side it would be 3 number 20s worth and make each number 20 equal to 5mg using a 15 mg vial.

The only other thing I worry about is being clean.
Always wash my hands and surface area i am working at. Use alcohol on the vials, cleaning before and after pinning.

That's it, easier than baking a cake.

Yes! Definitely sounds like a simple process. Thanks so much for sharing and making it understandable. Is it hard to switch from one glp 1 to another. I've only ever used Sema, but I do want to try the Reta or Tirz.

I have read about many people doing it and it seems quite common, although if sema is working it is also common that people recommend continuing if you don't have to change and saving a change for when you might stall. Also, as I understand it, sema has more food noise silencing ability than Tirz or Reta. With Reta you also have to watch your RHR, as it can cause some people to get a decent bump in their heart rate.

The ones who did make the switch usually started by micro dosing the first few weeks while keeping the sema dose the same, then slowly titrating up on the new glp1 while scaling down on sema.

switching is as easy as stopping one and starting the other. Doesn't need to be more complicated than that. but one thing that a lot of people do that works against them is lose patience. eventually your weight loss is going to slow down a little and people start panicing and changing too many things too quickly.

Never lose sight of the goal of becoming healthier. And remember that it's ok if it takes a little longer than you thought.
