HELP me out: Women's Hair loss from Tirz

Been on Tirz for 7 months, lost 50 lbs, 35 to go. But my hair won't stop falling out in alarming amounts since ~December. The only reason it's not noticeable right away is that I had a TON of hair to start. But now when I gather into a pony tail, the volume is noticeably MUCH thinner. I'm certain it's from Tirz, but to compound the problem, I'm 47 and also in perimenopause, so that is not helping.

It just won't stop falling out. Like a tribble's worth of hair comes out every time I shower, clogs the drain if I don't pull it out into the trash as I go. It's not only gross, but it's starting to freak me out. I've got expensive-ass vitamins (Nutrafol) ordered, started adding bovine collagen peptides to my coffee, trying to prioritize my daily protein. I take the GLOW protocol 5x/week. And I just started low-dose estrogen patches (.025 mc 2x/wk) and compounded testosterone cream (.5gram 1x/wk) from my menopause specialist.

Anyone tried anything that works?

I wanted to stay away from oral or topical minoxidil because I heard that once you start, you need to take it indefinitely and that even more shedding will happen at the beginning.
Lost my hair in 2016 due to a medical condition--and I had great hair--lost, like shave your head and embrace the suck lost.

Anyway, the things that helped me the most were red light therapy & minoxidil (then I used foam because it was less irritating to my scalp; now I take oral with duasteride from an online vendor).

I have taken every supplement anyone suggested (I have a pic somewhere of that too, I will try to find), including nutrafol, went on HRT, made protein a priority, and worn hair pieces, but the red light and minoxidil made the greatest impact and somewhere I have pics to prove that.

I no longer wear hair pieces or take HRT, but I use hair fibers and still take several of the supplements, including nutrafol.

Based on my prior experience with hair loss, I have titrated my sema/reta doses to ensure that my weight loss stays between 1-1.5 pound per week on average. It has only been 3 months, but so far so good (and I had lost more than 10% of my body weight before starting, which some say is significant enough to produce hair fall).

Investing in red light therapy can be intimidating. My unit was more than $500. It sat in my amazon cart until my mother asked me about it (she uses my amazon) and insisted on buying it for me. If it breaks tomorrow and a replacement unit is twice the price, I will buy it based on my results.

Sorry for the long response. I wish you all the best and I will try to find those pics.

The photo on the left was taken 3 months after the medical issue resolved and it was taken the week before I ordered the red light device--I know it doesn't look like it, but minoxidil had helped a great deal at this point. The picture on the right was taken one year later, red light, minoxidil and the supplements I used before finding nutrafol. These were the supplements I was taking then, thought the picture kind of cuts out the lycopene.

Do a “How To” on micro needling! I take daily Vitamin E, Glutathione, Ascorbic Acid and Monixidil+Finesteride. One cool trick I can share with folks is I started taking daily Polybcom shots with Vitamin B1 (Thiamine), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Vitamin B7 (Biotin), Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid), and Vitamin B12.

I shit you not. The B5 is reversing my gray hair.
Is the B5 affecting facial and body hair coloring? Is the color the same as it was prior? "Asking for a friend. "

It’s been getting darker. It is more noticeable in my eyebrows and facial hair. I imagine that’s because it grows so fast. It is slow going on the top of my head but the sides are more pepper than salt now. I also suspect that’s because I get a haircut every two weeks.

I want to try this but the thought and effort of pinning myself nearly everyday sounds exhausting, plus insulin needs ain't cheap atm. Would you say it's worth the effort?
I swear by ghk cu and bpc-157(injection). I take it 5 days a week. It has been really helping me. I also take, One A Day complete multivitamin (zinc, folate, biotin, 1.35mg copper, plus others)and love them! I hope that you find something that truly helps you too!

I definitely feel like it's worth it. Please keep in mind that everyone reacts differently to elements/things we put in our body. If you did ever want to try this combo, you might want to try a single vial of one or both(ghk cu &bpc-157). You can try it for a month and see if it works well for you. This way, you don't have to commit into buying kits. You can try it out first if this is something that you might want to do.

That's an amazing difference! Lucky you!

After a few years of dwindling estrogen, I finally lost all my curls and started going bald on the top of my head. Like "you can't hide it anymore". I tried a lot of the supplements you tried, but they didn't help. I started HRT and Minoxidil in January, and my curl pattern is returning like crazy. I have an appointment with a dermatologist tomorrow, and I'm sure he'll put me on meds for alopecia. But I'm going to give red light therapy a try. I already have a bunch of them.
