Reuters: "Meet the Americans who make their own weight-loss drugs" 27-Jun-25

Its criminal only if someone complains.
Or federal murder if someone dies, though that would be extremely unlikely and, even then, the jury or even the prosecutor may be sympathetic.

If I didn't have canine dependents, I would be tempted to vend too, haha. From what I remember, most guys who were caught selling a ton of steroids by US mail got just house arrest or probation, but they got a ton of fines.

Yeah, that "not for human use" disclaimer will mean nothing to a prosecutor. But its "white collar crime" at worse, and with that kind of crime they mostly want to take the proceeds from the "criminal" activity and call it a day. Forfeiture of profits, fines, etc are the standard response from law enforcement with these kind of ventures. They dole out minimal prison time as you noted.

Hell, most law enforcement hopes the "criminal" goes right back out to doing what they were doing before when they got busted, so they get a opportunity to cash in on the perp again.

Its all about the Benjamins....

Sounds about right. I posted elsewhere on the board about the failed Iranian music producer from Orange Country who opened up a website, slapped his own labels on vials from kits he buys just like everyone else, and sells individual vials at about a 8-900% markup.

Guy advertises on Facebook, Instagram, and TT. Inside of a year and a half he's made 3 million in profit off slinging peptides.

Its criminal only if someone complains. Otherwise it's legal drug dealing of a simple, high margin commodity....

Saul Goodman lays it out for ya...
Dang. I should start slinging single vials. 😳

This looks like a bunch of unruly people destroying the market for low prices! If all compounds went up in price the average person wouldn't be able to afford it, it would be murder!

Figures it would be a music producer. Already experienced in slapping their label on someone else's work.

Often I wonder ~ when people feel the need to run their mouth TO THE WORLD, do they even think about the consequences of what they are doing? What is the motivation for people to run to social media and blab like this? Lack of self awareness? The need to feel important? Attention?

Do these people REALLY think they’re helping others in the name of “ harm reduction? “ I’m extremely skeptical. If that were the case why not leave comments on and take questions?

Maybe I’m being immature but this shit has always pissed me off. It’s why I don’t use fb, instagram, next door, “ X “… too many attention whores.✌️

Those last four words are just 🧑‍🍳💋
You nailed the problem!

This too shall pass. Once the newest TT trend takes off again. Something like HerbaLife can make a revival to get these idiots chattering again.

I hope you’re right, bradakai. The issue is the flower and the power big pharma has to make these peps extremely difficult to get our hands on. All under the guise of “ keeping us safer. “

Mile High Peptide, check him out on TT. Full on posting about what he’s restocking, selling, payment options. Guy is just raking in the $$$. Looks like he’s gotta be just selling individual vials from kits. I think he’s charging like $300/vial.
Just looked up Mile High Peptide; TT says his account is “no longer available.”

The

don't feel sorry for them. I've been told by one of their mods that they "ok with their name being mentioned [publicly]" so I'm not clear that it's a problem to them. Just to those of us wanting to preserve what we already have.
Supposedly they have “Taken steps in case they get nuked,” but I don’t see any changes…

"Most of the gray market buyers Reuters interviewed had told their medical providers they were taking GLP-1 medicines but not where or how they bought them."

What pisses me off is there’s no mention of the premium Americans pay for name brand products compared to the rest of the world. Few Americans can cough up an extra $500 a month for medicine Brits and French are getting for $100.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out with the FDA vs Lilly on Reta being a drug vs biologic. Lilly is trying hard to make sure it's just as difficult to get through regular channels once approved.
Biologics are proteins that have 40+ amino acids. Reta has 39! Close call. Eli Lilly leadership must be pissed...

I get why people are resorting to DIY routes especially with how expensive and gatekept this whole process has become. But it’s honestly scary too.

Where did you hear that? I live in Spain and Mounjaro and Ozempic cost just as much here as the rest of the world. It's arguably one of the cheapest places to get it I think, but it's still 350 euros for the medium doses for a month.

I'm an ex Mounjaro user from the UK and the only way you're getting anwhere close to $100 for Tirz is a 2.5mg pen with 4 doses for your first time offer. It's more like $130 for the absolute lowest price and dose and then a few hoops you have to jump through with a pharmacy to actually get your hands on it. Going beyond 5mg it gets more expensive quick, plus the hastle of changing provider/pharmacy every month and repeating the process, very much not worth.

Mounjaro UK Price Comparison List

This is what I used to use to get the best "deals" when getting mine from a pharamcy which now looking back and going grey seems like a scam. Grey is superior regardless, but just wanted to share what the situation is like over the pond.
