Hello,

I am new to not just this forum but posting on a forum in general lol. So sorry in advance I am doing my best to read and learn but this is all foreign to me.

I used ozempic in the past and I did not have a good experience. I was hoping on learning about other options and if there is anyone else who went thru the bad symptoms I had with ozempic.

Also one of the reasons I wanted to join is to try to do this in the safest and have as much harm reduction as possible.

Most people that have bad experience do better with a smaller dose. But what exactly was the issue you had?

Welcome! My RS had a much better experience on a lower dose too, and moving up very, very slowly.

Im a bit embarrassed to say or it might be to much info.

But I did start with a lower dose but eventually likely due to my digestion slowing down id have extremely hard stools. To the point I got an anal fissure. It took me months to recover from it. It really sucked.

I stopped and a few months later tried taking it again with a coachs help and sure enough after some time it started happening again I quit since then.

Was hoping maybe reta or triz won't cause same issue. And yes I had plenty of fiber and protein.

Tirz and Reta both have lower side effect rates.

I started with tirz at 2.5mg and had all sorts of gastrointestinal issues. (I now suggest people start at 1mg to avoid this possibility)

My first 2 weeks was kinda explosive diarrhea. Followed by a few months of constipation that I needed to take fiber and magnesium supplements daily keep under control. I definitely ended up with an anal fissure while I was figuring that out. My body adjusted over time and while I still take the fiber just because I don't eat enough of it, I've dropped the magnesium.

I'm no doctor, but my own personal experience with tirz has been the opposite. I'm EXTREMELY regular (bordering on too regular 😂) while on tirz, especially the first 2ish days after injecting.
I'm currently still on the last of my brand-name tirz (been on it at least a year, maybe more) and going to be going grey soon, but that's been my experience.

Glad to see i am not the only one.

Also glad it might happen less on reta and from what I understand it kinda goes away if you just stick with it?

Im not gonna lie im terrified of dealing with again if it happens I'll prob just stop glps altogether

Good luck going Grey! I hope to start soon just very skeptical and worried about getting scammed.

Side effects typically go away or greatly subside for most people over time as your body adjusts.
