Is there anything that you buy the thicker needles for? Or is the 8mm fine for everything?

8mm refers to the length. Gauge (G) refers to the thickness, with lower numbers being thicker.

For insulin syringes for GLPs and other peptides, I usually use 32g 6mm. 32g is the thinnest insulin syringe size, I believe.

32g is even thick enough for some oil-based products like testosterone, depending on the amount and the carrier oil.

I have trouble with my 30ga needles bending before I can get through the vial cap. They are off-brand, though, so that may have something to do with it.

Mct oil? Grape seed oil is hard to push through a 25guage.

I’m really dumb about needles so please be patient 🙂. So this would be thinner than 30g 5/16" 0.5ml Easy Touch Syringes? I ask, because I just switched to these from some cheap ones I got on Amazon and for the first time I bled. It didn’t hurt, but was startling. I switched to Easy Touch because the general advice on this forum is to avoid Amazon products for our needs. But the funny thing is that I was fine with the cheap 31G 1cc 5/16 Inch(8mm) Amazon needles. Only the Easy Touch made me bleed. So now I’m searching for the absolute thinnest needle possible. Seems like BD is a trusted brand.

I have no idea with the test-e I have now. The box and label from the UGL lab is shiny and pretty, but it just says oil base. It is thinner than the first UGL test-e that I got, which was also just "oil base."

With the thicker oil, I was able to get 30 units at a time. I will be getting thicker needles anyway since I am going to weekly dosing instead of twice a week.

The test-c I have on order has MCT as a base.

I would think that any needle has a chance of making you bleed and hurting if they hit the right spot.
I agree. But I did it in the same area that I always do and had no issues in the past. It didn’t hurt at all. It just startled me because it was a pretty big drop of blood. I probably just hit a small blood vessel.

If the solution is clear it's mct oil or migoyl. If it's tinted it's grape seed oil with thicker viscosity. I know u said u have ugl stuff like me but with the trt 150.00 a month guys maybe the compounding pharms add a thinner but man the only way I could ever pin test in a slin pin was to back fill it. (Pull the plunger out and add the liquid from the back with a 22 or 23 Guage pin)

Did bleed in the beginning. Was pinning at 45 degree angle, in areas with low fat, pinching the skin too hard. I now use love handles/fatty areas, 90 degree pin, and gently grab the skin to pin. I avoid the belly. Do not poke too many stoppers/vials before you pin the skin. The needle gets dull quickly. I use EasyTouch 31G 8mm. Some stoppers are denser, and must be poked in the center, otherwise is easy to bend these needles. This is my experience.
