Buying from China and global entry

Does anyone know if having global entry affects your purchases from china. I’ve had two stop at customs. They never send me any information or anything they just never show up. The vendor refunded me but I’m worry that I will never be able to buy from them again.

I’ve not had anything go missing or get confiscated but I’ve heard tall tales of people losing their global entry over it

Yes, it can affect your global entry. Also, once you have a package to an address seized, they put it on a list and will scrutinize all of your future packages to that address.

Get a box at a UPS store (not a post office) and put an Etsy store name or fake business name on it or something. Have your packages shipped to that. When that address gets burned, go to another UPS store down the road and start over.
